that's what i was thinking too. if we didn't have the early enrollees that we did and came into today with 50/50s on players like berrios, darling, and mcdermott, we'd be ****ing ourselves in happiness with this class.

yes, we closed like ****, but the class is a strong one. we wanted the ferrari and got the mercedes.
 
If we have 4 years in a row with this type of talent we would have a championship caliber team. This is the type class we used to get in the late 90's. Talent+Attitude+Chip on your shoulder=success.
Definitely the best class we have had in years.
 
People think this the hurricanes of old.. Our coaches suck, we were mediocre 1st half of the season and terrible down the stretch, UL **** on us in our bowl game but were somehow supposed to have a top 5 class.. Lulz
 
I would say the close (Jan/Feb) was the worst of the internet era (since 97 or so) when you consider that we lost Valentine/Powell and only gained Njoku (who I like).

The class overall is, in a vacuum, pretty good. Just stings in the context of what was possible with the class in SoFla. Through that lens it is frustrating.

We desperately need for Kaaya and the DTs to hit.
 
9, 10 ,11- the national rankings of our class on ESPN, Scout and Rivals, respectively. Not too shabby. For years I have suspected that FSU asks some of their commits to remain silent until NSD to make a bigger splash at the last moment.

OP and everyone else need to be negged to Bolivia. Why not do every one a favor and just end it? Fast please.

The only thing I can count on each NSD is the sky is falling crowd dominating the discussion. The good thing is that the recruiting experts don't agree with any of you which makes it all the easier to ignore.

How'd you like to be sitting @ #25 or worse? You know.....it not only is NOT bad but the glass is half full AND you negative mf'ers won't deserve the climb back to the top.

This is nowhere near the worst NSD ever. Com'on man! It was just uneventful. Chill. This is our best class in a really long time.
 
No. Just boring and anticlimactic. We didn't land any "surprises," just watched others pluck kids from us. Fun times.
 
If the staff would have held back the commits of Gray, Yearby, McCray, etc and released it in the final days of recruiting, all of you armchair recruiting gurus would be hopping up and down. The meat and potatos with the gravy of this class was done months ago. Sorry it didn't appease your need for drama and soap-opera BS.

If guys like Kayaa and Thomas were NSD decisions and signed today we'd all be ecstatic but because we locked our class up so early it took all the drama out of today IMO. Would have been nice to flip a kid or two but that doesnt happen often
