Moreover, we just had the single most PR-focused university president ever and she had the worst scandal. The idea that we should give a **** about past NCAA transgressions of potential candidates is foolish and will only lead to the types of hires we saw under donna.

We break any major rules while we are on probation and we won't have a football program.

Is there ANY precedent for this position? Isn't it much more likely that things like reduced recruiting contact, additional probation time and vacated wins (lol) would be the result?

SMU got the death penalty for violations that occurred while they were on probation.
