"Establishing the run" has become nothing more than lip service to a largely defunct methodology. Speed and accuracy make offenses tick these days, not necessarily brute force. I'm sure that will change one day as concepts continue to evolve, but right now, it's about running accurate, quick routes and making accurate, quick reads.

There will always be a place for the run. But the guys who've been having continued success year after year are guys who run some form of the Mike Leach offense. It's not a gimmick if it works ALL THE **** TIME.

Sure, there are exceptions and since this is the internet, I'm sure folks will waste no time in pointing them out in an attempt to assert their superior (Google skills) knowledge. But by and large, we're throwing that brown orb a whole lot.

Just not Mark Richt. He hasn't gotten that memo yet.

No; this is not one bad season. This is an accumulation of y Richt was fired from his previous employer. This is the new sense of our reality that, for now 3 yrs, there have been exactly three separate 4 game losing streaks against teams that have no business being on the same field as us.

Let’s recap what we have going on in “Paradise” shall we:

The QB room is in shambles. 3 of the 4 QBs have been suspended at least once.

We have WRs rebelling against the staff.

The defense getting frustrated w the offense.

Young guys upset that a Robert Knowles or a Cager is constantly getting the nod over them.

Richt being complacent w being .500 (literally his words for this season).

No QB being recruited for ‘19, yet our QB room stinks

No quality OLmen being recruited for ‘19, yet our OL room stinks

We now have two RBs w/ injury issues (Lingard and Burns), yet no we have no RBs currently committed for ‘19.

A Mass exodus of talent brewing, yet we’re, once again, putting all our eggs in one basket (should’ve paid attention to MJJ).

We current have NO active scholarship TEs playing

We are grossly under scholarship numbers, yet we are not on probation.

I mean, I really could go on and on, but for what. I know it’s your duty as a white knight fan to tell us that we don’t see the big picture, right?

So imma do u a solid service; since u say we as opposers of Richt and him being here; what is the big picture that the 1000’s of us are missing? Pls, don’t tell me about the IPF, b/c right now that’s just a chit toy w/ no one to play w. I’m asking honestly, what are we all missing; what is this big picture?
