Just saw a very preliminary opening line showing we're actually favored by 3 over Wisconsin.

This could drastically change once the consensus line is set, but somewhat surprising to see.
 
Doubt we put 5,000 in the stands for this crap fest. Who the **** wants to venture into that city on a Thursday night of all nights for a night game in most likely snowy, winter conditions? Would’ve been better served in a warmer city like Jacksonville on New Years Eve night. Ain’t nobody watching this rematch especially seeing as the results will remain the same. Hornibrook will end the game 23/27 for 221yds and 2TD’s as we struggle to figure out their juggernaut of an offense. Perry completes all of 5 passes for a whopping 62yds and 2INT’s. Games over by halftime

I can guarantee you there will be more than 5,000 Canes fans there.

We have a huge following in the Northeast.
 
The matchup is **** and about as exciting as watching grass grow.

I never thought I would see the day where a Canes game would be several games down the list of bowl games I was excited to see. The repeat of last year with virtually nothing at stake has done this.

I'm driving down from Mass. Between NJ, NY, CT, and MA there are a lot of alums and fans. I think we'll be fairly well represented. I actually went to the Pinstripe Bowl a few years back when Ryan Nassib's Syracuse destroyed Geno Smith's West Virginia. It was a blizzard that year and it was a lot of fun.

I also have to imagine the players are more excited about this game than being sent to Shreveport, El Paso, or even a place like Jacksonville / Orlando where they've probably been before. I just hope none of our guys heading to the draft decide to skip the game.

I sure hope so. As much doom and gloom is around this program, I'd like to end the year on a 3 game win streak, get revenge against Wisconsin, and have some momentum into NSD.

I think these kids have had enough. Up and down drama all year. Butchered in the media, the fans, opposing teams. I think they make a statement despite Richt. I say Kosi burns the fcking playbook to keep warm and balls out with his boys. Just my gut.

We’ve been destroyed each time. With Richt, I don’t expect anything different. If he’s too lazy to use all the practice time he’s allowed, we’ll get rolled again, terrible since this should be a friendly site for us.
Maybe the fans( who show up) will finally run Richt out of the stadium?

If we can score early and make them throw we will win going away, if they score early and can use their running attack it will be a long day. Hope our guys are fired up from the get go...

Serious question out of pure ignorance - I've heard this mentioned on the forums a few times...that Richt didn't use all the allotted bowl practices last year? What's the story there?

I'm sure there were threads on this and I missed it. I know nothing.

Looking forward to another HB pass in the snow. I have a lot more confidence in Deejay making the throw this time around compared to when Yearby tried it. I think it’s all gonna be okay.
