Wisconsin QB out for bowl game.

I think In that system, behind that line the guys i named, Akers, Dillon (maybe not the LSU guy but he plays far better comp) can put up those type numbers..but Dillon to me as far as the eye test for a guy that big is the best. Even tho Taylor went for I think a 150 against us I wasn’t overly impressed with him..that oline is another story

Jonathan Taylor was a true freshman when he dropped that 150 on us.

Wholeheartedly disagree. Taylor looks like he's jogging but chews up yards like nothing with his track speed. He has incredible balance and can maneuver through the garbage inside extremely well. Dillon is a great back, but he lacks the burst that Taylor has. I know Dillon was nicked but he averaged over 5 yards a carry only 3 times this year.....4.9 avg for the year. Taylor averaged under 5 yards a carry 3 times.....7.1 avg for the year.

Brossette from LSU isn't even in the same conversation as Taylor and Dillon.
That’s my point too on Dillon he was nicked but still was great this year..I don’t know man I just wasn’t overly impressed with Johnathan Taylor when I watched him play. Even looking at his game logs when the comp goes up he he is still good but not dominant like he is against the FAUs of the world..and on brosette I think he’s a very good back in a tougher conference and has Legit next level future

9.3 average against Penn State and a 5.9 average against Michigan this year - i would say that's playing well against good teams.

Listen i love AJ Dillon - stored him on my fantasy team bc i liked him so much. But he averaged less than 5 yards/carry against UMASS and 3.1 against Purdue before he got hurt. Taylor averaged 9.7 vs Purdue. Yes, different offenses and Olinemen but Dillon is a bruiser who breaks some now and again, Taylor is a threat to break one every single time he touches the ball. If he didn't have the fumble issues, he would be even better. When he loses one, he focuses on it and gets wrapped up a little easier than usual.

Their QB being out helps a little but this game will hinge on one thing.......our ability to stop the best RB we have seen this year, in cold weather that Wisconsin loves and Miami hates. It will be about pride and effort.
Also our ability to score into double digits.

They are burning the kids redshirt just for him to start in the bowl game.

What is lost about Taylor when you just look at the stats is that he was putting up nation leading yardage despite being the only weapon on the team. Our qb has been hurt for half the year and our WRs have been nonexistent (leading wr has 30 catches for barely 500 yards). Taylor has been the sole focus of every D we have played. He has faced far, far more 9 man boxes than 7 and everyone in the world knows we are going to give him the ball between the tackles when he is on the field. Yet he still ran for more yards than anyone else in the country. He is a rock solid 220 with sprinter speed and great balance. He is the real deal.

His 5 yard runs are often as impressive as his 80 yarders as he never goes down on 1st contact and always falls forward. He is well on his way to being one of the all time greats in college football. He currently has around 400 more yards through his 1st two seasons than the previous record holders, Hershal Walker and Ron Dayne, and still has a game basically in his hometown to go. I don’t know what we will see from the rest of the team, they have been wildly inconsistent and I expect Miami to be fired up after last year, but Taylor is going to run for 100 plus guaranteed.

Can't read the whole thing but he is out for the game. They will rely on the run even more now. Go Canes! Finish strong #WatchtheFinish ;);)

Luginbill picked Wisconsin as which bowl game has a guaranteed win. He said the cold, their running game and with the current state of the Miami program, that Wisconsin wins easily. Guess we'll find out

Snow forecasts a week in advance are worthless, I work in NYC and see it all the time. Just last week they were saying we were going to get a decent amount of snow on Christmas. Now? No snow whatsoever. They won't know until about two days before the game if there will be snow.
