Wisc Excited to Play Miami in Pinstripe Bowl

All good, my friend.

I believe all of the tier 1 bowls are "technically" of equal status. I, myself, would have preferred the Gator Bowl.

**** yes! That’s where I wanted us to go. I was just saying on the list of order, the pinstripe was literally the last of the bowls on the tier 1 level. Maybe that’s just how it’s listed. Regardless, we got screwed on this bowl birth.

If we don’t exact revenge on Wisc, I dunno what imma think.

Agreed, not sure about A&M they’re gonna smoke Nc St but if we’re going to lose a bowl game anyway I’d rather do in the warmth

I think Blake would be good as an assistant AD b/c he’s a good promo guy, I’ll give him that, but running the full athletic department is a bit over his head, imo. Richt should’ve never prematurely received a contract extension. Had he learned from his predecessor, he would’ve known that prematurely giving contract extensions can be a death blow. Extend that contract after yr. 3 if it’s warranted, not yr. 1 or 2.
Blake could be in sports marketing... but i totally agree with you... its as plain as Rosie O'Donnell's *** that he is in wayyyyy over his head trying to be an AD.

In the preseason ranking, Wisconsin #4 in AP & #7 in Coaches, Miami # 8 in AP & #8 in Coaches, and Auburn #9 in AP & # 10 in Coaches were all ranked in the Top 10 and finished the regular season unranked.

Right now Wisconsin is the biggest disappointment of the season. They would love to beat Miami to get rid of that title.

Thing that bothers me about Blake is that he is such a Pu**y (Richt calls the shots) when the program has gone nowhere, and is getting worse. Compare him to some of his predecessors), they were aggressive go-getters. Every hire under them (Schnelly to Butch) brought continuity and betterment to the program. Something needs to give here.

If Richt had testicular fortitude he'd show his team the Wisconsin coach mocking the turnover chain and ignite a fire under them. But he doesn't, so the team will come out disinterested and more focused on huddling on the bench by the heater than on playing football.
Waiting for the snowball fight while we’re getting destroyed on the field. Is this program a damned joke or what?

You guys are selling Mark Richt short.

He's gonna have like two new plays for the bowl game. One running and one passing.

He's not just going to run dive plays into the 1 and 2 holes on first down. In the bowl game I fully expect to see a bunch of dive plays into the 3 and 4 holes as well. He'll have the extra practice time to properly implement these new fangled plays.

.

Ah, but will he actually call them?

didn't the ACC choose this game for us? it's like they want to handicap us as much as possible by finding the coldest place we could play a bowl.

i am all about the "win no matter the circumstances" mentality, but based off of what this team has shown...the best way to make our chances even lower than they already are is to put the team in the cold. i guess this is the flip side of our "home field advantage" last year that wisky was complaining about.

Lets be brutally honest. With weeks of preparations the easiest thing to figure out is Richt's offense. We and Whiskey know he won't make any changes, surprises or tricks. Did I mention the cold and they more apt to it.
Are weeks of preparation really required to figure out Richt's offense.

Chryst is a significantly better coach than Richt which is concerning in bowl games.

Perry needs to play better than he did at Pitt for sure. Richts shortcomings are obvious but there were plays to be made.

Seems we sometimes struggle early on defense before Manny gets settled and with a good offensive coach like Chryst this is a concern. We can’t come out shooting blanks and expect to win.
Since Diaz has been here, his adjustments have been much better than gameplan. Which is fine, if your O isn’t a disaster.

Does anyone remember the Pitt game?
2013 i believe.
Similer cold temp to NY.
Team came out for pregame warmups in Tshirts.
We buried them, i expect nothing less against Whiskey..

It'll be bitterly cold and windy. The better ground game will win. Few, if any FGs. Run from the spread. Canes 21, Wisc 7
Only way we lose is if our boys fumble, from numb fingers.
