Winston Moss fires his DC after one game

i disagree. He was good, but your hype theory is false. He was unique for his type, amd played on a team and for a coach where his skills were showcased.

Bill Parcelles was the most overrated coach of all time. He only won when he had LT there to make him look good.

He lost at every point in his career otherwise. His coaching tree includes Al Golden.

The Giants didn’t make LT. Lawrence Taylor made the Giants.

Did you get that hot take by reading a sports blog?

Parcells coaching tree includes Bill Belichick.

No one who knows 1980s football can possibly think Parcells was overrated. He was a giant of the era. Saban learned from Belichick and you can see Parcells influence on what Alabama runs to this day.

If Bill Parcells is the reason New York won two Super Bowls in that era, then how come he didn't win anywhere else?

How many Super Bowls did he win with New England? How many Super Bowls did he win with the Jets? How about with the Dallas Cowboys.... how many Super Bowls he win with them?

Parcells ONLY WON when he had Taylor. FACT.

The only reason Parcells was a "giant of the era" was because of the media. It's all about finding a white guy to give the credit to and he happened to be that lucky guy.

Bill Parcells schemes were garbage. His whole football philosophy was garbage. All he wanted to do was run the ball and control the clock and play bend-don't-break scared, passive football.

Super Bowl 25 was a fluke. If Joe Montana doesn't get hurt or if Roger Craig doesn't fumble the ball, the Giants don't win the NFC championship. If Scott Norwood makes a field goal, the Bills win the Super Bowl.

Sometimes it's better to be lucky than good, and Bill Parcells was one of the luckiest. He lucked in to a Super Bowl win, and he lucked in to the greatest defensive player of all time who made his legacy bigger than it should be.

LT never won without Parcells, for that matter. JJ never won after the Cowboys. Never won without Aikman for that matter. You got a lot of words to say nothing. If you knew the Giants and 80s football you wouldn't think Parcells was nothing. Belichick don’t think that.

Nah, if it was all about the system like you say then how come Bill Parcells never could replace him? He coached four different NFL teams, he had a whole lot of outside linebackers before and after.... how come he could only find success with LT?

Speaking of Bill Belichick, HE believes LT is the greatest defensive player of all time. And so does Parcells.

Call me crazy, but I'm actually not sure Golden was that bad of a coach. Loyalty was his downfall. If he had quickly replaced No'D, he might have been Miami's coach much longer. And, yes, I'd have a beer with him in a heartbeat.
I'd have a beer with him to, so when I finished my last sip, I could bust the bottle over that hard a55 head of his

Belichick is entitled to his opinion. He was associated with the Giants and has some bias. LT was clearly great. I’d take Ray Lewis over him all day every day if I’m starting a team. For position, role, leadership, motovstion.

Anyhow, Parcells was a great coach and you sound like he porked your sister the way you run on about him. It’s hard for a coch to won big in two places in the nfl. Belichick failed in Cleveland. Does that mean he isn’t the goat? JJ failed after leaving the cowboys. The nfl is tough and if you don’t grt the right mix of guys quickly, it can be hard to recover. Parcells was a painful personality and control freak, so his expiration date was quicker ehen it wasn’t working. But he was a great coach and was coach of the year twice on the giants, so others noticed.
