Winning a bowl game??

Is that really what Golden is now selling to the team and recruits? We have fell a lot further then what I wanted to believe. Now that just winning a bowl game is supposed to be a positve at Miami, we are in trouble with Golden. For any tards out there that means we just have to get 6 wins each year. Then we get to play another ****** team and then pump our fists that we won a "bowl game".

He's actling like this team is full of freshman. Hope he realizes the vast majority of the production of this team will be in the NFL next year.

No doubt he tries to Haith his way out. Writing is on the wall.

Someone desperate and willing to listen to his BS. He said all the right things when he was hired here. I really liked him at first but every season he has disappointed. No excuse to have 5 losses this year. Losing to UVA is baaaad. This team should be no worse then a 3 loss team. Way to much talent.

Anxious to see how the team plays next week. Are they going to play for him or fold up?

UVA...call me a conspiracy theorist but I think Golden has an affinity w/ UVA and PSU. We didn't start losing to those suckers until Golden came to the helm. I think if we played PSU, we would get the snot beat out of us against them too. I feel Golden puts the muzzle on the kids when we play UVA. Our game plan is extraoridinarily vanilla against them. I think Golden is their guy and when they come knocking he will accept. He left on good terms w/ them and since he's a sport psychology major, he knows how to present himself well. He'll use his familiarity in the East Coast to recruit for them and now he has ties to So. Fla and will use that a means to spark their interest.

If Golden took care of business last night I could see that happening. But if they fire London do you really think they would replace him with the only person he can beat??
 
He can sell the team on getting rings made for participating in a useless bowl game, along with the rings for finishing tied for 5th in the Coastal.
 
What makes anyone think we will win a bowl game? A bowl game gives whoever the coach is of the OTHER team time to prepare. If there is one thing Al has shown us is that time to prepare does him no good at all. Neither does halftime for adjustments. Coaching a bowl game is its own skill and Al has sown none of it.
 
Can we self impose another bowl ban. What good would it do being raped on national TV again.
 
If the Canes get matched up against the Gators in a bowl game it will only highlight the fact that mediocre coaching isn't acceptable at UF and it is at UM.

Truth be told, a bowl win against the Gaytas would actually be good enough for me. It'll show that we at least chose a competent interim head coach.
 
If we lose to a gator caretaker coach I'ma loss my ****.

I may smash every tv within a 2 mile radius and go full hermit.
 
If Golden gets an offer from somebody else he'd be stupid not to take it. Even if he's not fired after the season next year is going to be mighty uncomfortable for him if he stays in Coral Gables. Nobody wants to be someplace they aren't welcome. He isn't going to just quit, but if a place like Virginia comes along and offers him a job it would be a mistake for him to turn it down. Like a bad decision on gameday. Wait a minute..... Oh ****! We're stuck with him even if another BCS program does offer him a job.
