"Win and were in" is assuming we jump Bama.

There are obvious scenarios where we make the playoff if we win, ie : Wisconsin loss or Oklahoma loss.

But right now if the top three win out and we beat Clemson close, we still need to jump a one-loss bama. I just dont see the committee doing that.

I think the narrative will become "Alabama has a better loss than Miami" rather than "Miami has better wins than Alabama." Especially with this Hocutt ****** running the show.

Yeah, i know, 16 year old puppet, pimple pete, probably said win and were in, but i honestly think this dude will say anything the University tells him to say.

2.5/10 Troll Job.
Right off the bat you hit us with a grammatical error in your title. Might be a typographical error, or you might be a choad. Not sure at this point, but either way it's a bad start.

Good use of the word "we" throughout the OP. Excellent way to sucker the novices and gullible people into believing you actually care about UM football.

You went for the jugular with the Alabaga slurping in the second sentence of your OP. This is a lazy mistake. Imagine you are with your boyfriend at home. Do you appreciate it when he spits on his hand and rams it in there? Probably not, right. Employ the same light touch and build up here.

Solid use of the "media bias" narrative and playing on UM fans' (rightly earned) persecution complex. But again, too soon and lazily used. Had you slow-played this point and added some support from the regular anti-UM talking heads this would have played on our fears and helped hide your trolling. The ad hominem attack on our former AD (who ran out of town like a jackal) was a heavy-handed and awkward transition, which again lacked nuance and fell flat.

Finishing your OP by awkwardly calling Pete's knowledge into question and again resorting to personal attacks was way over the top. At this point, even most gullible or inexperienced CISers would know this is a foolishly conceived and poorly executed troll job.

Another mistaken use of the word "were" when clearly you meant to use the contraction "we are" to end the post just confirms (as the final nail in the coffin) you are a slob hiding behind a keyboard in his mother's basement.

Try harder next time, or maybe find another outlet.

Upvoted simply for calling him a "choad"

Op makes sense. Final 4 selection could be difficult. Why do so many posters diss Op because they don't agree with his premise. It is no 100% sure bet that if we beat Clemson that we make final 4.

The thing is, it SHOULD be a lock if we beat Clemson. Wouldn't beating the #1 team at the end of the regular season be the highest quality win a team can have all year long? We know pre-season rankings can be wildly off, and mid season #1 often means the dust hasn't settled (see Georgia), but Clemson is the #1 team at the end of the regular season. Beating them at this point had better carry a **** of a lot of weight. A lot more than a two loss OSU beating Wisconsin, or a one loss Bama staying home because they couldn't beat the best team they played.

Alabama will receive every benefit of a doubt but not at the expense of a victorious Canes team.

I wouldn't mind Nick Saban satisfied with an apparent reprieve courtesy of Ohio State, but then Urban Meyer and the Buckeyes blow it late. That game is played parallel to our own.

This is my hope. I certainly can see them getting in over OSU, and TCU if they beat OU, but NOT Miami if we beat Clemson.

One thing, all these championship games this weekend and Bama is home sitting on their collective asses. Cant win if you are sitting home. They’re not making any friggin playoff, despite all the yahoos politicking for them and that little weasel going on the tube and whining.

Could you imagine the ****storm if they took 2 SEC teams and kept the ACC winner (who just beat the #1 ranked team) out of the playoffs? Its a ridiculous premise that would NEVER happen.

If Miami beats No. 1 Clemson, wins the ACC and goes 11-1 on the year—news flash; they're in.

One-loss, no-conference-title game Alabama isn't in over the Canes. Zero chance.

The Crimson Tide has already been shredded for their "strength" of schedule and their biggest wins are over Mississippi State and an LSU team that lost to Troy. Buh-bye.
