You’re up.
They need to show out against ND.
They need to show out against ND.
As I just said in an other thread, I’ve suggested Blitz Toure. He’s in no-man’s land on 1st downs anyway, so might as well already account for his absence in coverage. Gives another disruption in the A and B gaps without giving a clear picture on RPOs and otherwise when he is over aggressive in the run game on early downs. We must not continue to be vulnerable to the pass on 1st downs. One thing that will be interesting to see is if heatherman starts playing Wilson on early downs to combat teams going away from the run. Or maybe change the pressure plans for early downs with more 5 man pressures, more stunts
Blount doesn’t offer anything in pass rush but they trust him vs the run more than wilson, that luxury we had last year isn’t the same

Can’t continue missing 22 tackles or we in trouble. Do your job and get them on the ground no bad angles. Put Bryce in center fieldTHEY ALL NEED TO SHOW UP!!!!!
EVERYBODY!!!
Have to guard against the run— he has more value there than in a blitz package and as bad as he covers at least he’s there for the run—As I just said in an other thread, I’ve suggested Blitz Toure. Was literally going to post this word for word. They do fast passing plays. Get your hands up and please don't give ten yard cushions all dayEveryone needs to show up, but I’ll repeat that we shouldn’t expect our pass rush to get home often unless ND does something very different or we get a lead that forces them into deeper drops and routes.
Get your hands up and disrupt passing lanes. Let Moten eat.
You can run blitz.Have to guard against the run— he has more value there than in a blitz package and as bad as he covers at least he’s there for the run—
He blitzes and never gets to QB- it’s a waste as we can bring more effective pressure
I say “play to strengths”’and let the chips fall
Yep. I’ll tell you what he doesn’t do well: play the pass on early downs. I’m trying to find a way to get him out of that. We cannot have teams hit us with 70+% passes on first downs with high efficiency. UNC absolutely dogged us.Run blitz = more effective, yes…. Let him do what he does well and don’t ask more questions
