I used to think that ESPN was deplorable for marketing "wrestling." But the truth is this is all a TV show. What's the difference?

Football players really are the equivalent to child actors. Depression and suicidal tendencies are almost guaranteed. It's not going to change. As a fan I want players who only care about football and work religiously to that. Between 24-29 (maybe a little later, maybe a little sooner) they're done. Life's work is over. Generally doesn't care if they can still contribute because we have a new generation of younger bodies ready.

It's terrible when you think about it. These guys are basically forced to endure a magnified mid-life crisis before they are 30. Now they have to figure out what to do with that degree someone else earned for them. But, if they were wise (and 10 kids doesn't scream wise) they'll have the funding for a reasonable shot.

I’ve met Portis, Edge, and Mcgahee. Edge is definitely the most humble, Portis came off more arrogant

mcgahee isnt the came from nothing story.

Everyone who goes to college or is in life has to do exactly what u stated.

He started at Miami Springs and then transferred to Central if I recall correctly.

The article didn't say He was broke or broke because He had 10 kids, the article basically says He has to spend a lot of money on medical bills. H-e-l-l, Mark Brunell only has four kids, and He had to file bankruptcy because He invested in nasty a-s-s Whataburger & real estate, among other things.

I'm surprised by Whataburger. They swear by it in Texas.
