Early release for Non-Violent offender is not a bad use, but when early freedom leads to criminal conduct the program gets dark eye then potentially goes on the cutting block. The Willie Horton use by the original 'George' HW was racist-fearmongering but it turned people vs Dukakis; fair game in scoundrels’ politics. As for Obama, he ain't never done nothing of substance to really help his own. Non-Violent offender release program IS an initiate of Eric Holder program, then EH was taken out and BH is claiming said program that is now 'popular' as it exposes and mitigates stark injustices, which is now the cause du jour.
