Seeing his name tossed around a lot has DCord. He totally failed at UGA, will we rly trust him here? Would be a good DB coach but as a coordinator???

Wouldn't be excited about WM as our DC. He didn't do well in Athens. But, could he do better in Coral Gables? If so, lets go!
 
CMR hired and then fired Willie as his DC at Georgia. Why would he hire him for the DC role again? It's gotta be as DB coach. Right?
 
I would really, really question Richt's judgement if he made him the DC.

As DB coach, I'd be happy.
 
He'd bring him as a position coach.

It would make no sense to hire the guy to the same position he once fired him from.

Martinez was not a good d coord.....he was basically run out of town

It would not be a good thing at all if he came in as D coord
 
Another name I've read as a possible dc is Kevin sherrer. He's currently on the uga staff.

I saw his name on TOS as well but I don't see this actually being substantiated anywhere. Can you point me to where his name is being tossed around other than by fan message boards?

People just chill befor we start passing judgment on who he bring in as DC respect the fact we have a proven winner as coach the man has said his staff is the most important thing he will put together a Top staff chill.
 
Martinez as DC would be my first eyebrow raise of the Mark Richt administration.

Why would he do better in Miami than in Athens? It's not like UGA didn't have some serious talent.
