wow, really.. he would be joining a long list of coaches who "bolted" during or after signing day... business is all this is. and to call him a liar is just stupid .. how many of these recruits verbally commit and then on signing day change their minds.. get a grip

It's not unheard of for coaches and/or schools to lie. Assistant coaches bolt for other jobs immediately after signing day whether it's college positions or NFL ones. Schools also get rid of guys. It's cutthroat out there.
 
DO NOT want dawsey. Their WRs have been underperforming for years. They'll get either dugans or Michael Johnson from Oregon

Just my personal opinion considering I've also heard that Johnson is joining the staff. Just my opinion though trying to put the pieces together. I'm no insider.
 
I feel like the last 24 hours has really overshadowed the successful signing day class we had...

Doesn't make sense. Johnson has been an offensive coordinator and QB coach in the NFL and college. Why make Dugans the OC instead of him???

Agreed. He's a good WR coach, but I'd trust Richt to find a quality replacement if he were to leave.

I think he'd be crazy to leave, since he has job security here and is on a great staff. If he goes, he goes. It'll be his loss in the long run.

Not sure. Relationship maybe? Cristobal was the CO-OC at Oregon. I guess we will see soon.

I feel like a bunch of complaining has overshadowed the successful signing day class we had. First the media ignores our class because it's been so stable, now it's the fans.

Newberg is saying that Taggart will be the HC/OC/QB coach... he wants one voice to the QBs.... So if that's truly the case, it would probably be a lateral move for Dugans as WR Coach. unless he throws that infamous "Asst HC" title in there

I understand that. Johnson's son is also one of the highest rated dual threat qbs next year so putting his dad at the higher paying job makes more sense especially if FSU strikes out on qbs this year... Johnson only makes $275,000 at Oregon and they already have an OC...
