I need him on the team ***k being political

Not about whether he did it. I'm sure most of us will never know details. Do you think he's given second chance at Miami?
I’d be surprised. Right after it happened I was told he’ll be gone and that’s what happened. Then within hours he was, that’s all I can go on. It was done swiftly.

Personally, I’d like to see a happy ending here. I feel like the school knows best and I am going to support their decision. If they bring him back, I’ll be moving forward in support and hoping that everything works out for the best for all.
RVA= Real very articulate lmao that was about as PC as it gets.

Forget about who did it. The girl was beat up. The injuries are definite. That I know from someone on the board who @Rellyrell also knows. Are you good on that point without blame for who?

@SFbayCane

THIS would be a different story. Are you sure about this or is it a rumor. It was also said the baby was in danger of dying and some said that was false

I’m troubled by the violence this woman endured for certain. I’m also not comfortable being the decider of fate here. I don’t know the ins and outs and even with what I do know, I’m not an expert in this stuff. That’s why I’m just going to accept that it is in the hands of those who know better and support the school.

I’m sure about the violent injuries because the person who told myself and @Rellyrell is someone we both trust and someone we both know has connections to things of this nature given their line of work. He knew about it before it was reported. I don’t want to bring up the poster’s name. If it’s inaccurate then he was lied to at the time of the events unfolding. That doesn’t make sense. I can’t say more.

Regardless of whether or not this young fella did what he’s accused of, he put himself in a precarious situation to begin with. Red flags all over the place.

I’ll say it again; I have ZERO tolerance for a man hitting/abusing a woman. I don’t give a **** who it is - 5* S be damned. The real victims in this situation are the 2 kids and the one on the way.

There are 90 something young men on our team doing the right things. Their integrity, hard work, and character should not be compromised by one individual who obviously doesn’t meet the same standards.

In Florida if there is evidence, even if the victim / accuser doesn’t press charges the state will still follow through with the case ! If there is evidence, love how so many on here know he put his hands on her! And if you don’t and still talking about it like he did you should go eat a d!ck for talking about him like that!

To this point, everything came to fruition b4 the official docket came to light. Again, like RVA said, it’s not for us to reveal the poster, but he’s extremely credible, connected & not a clout chaser.

My only wish from the jump was

1. Both of these young ppl seek counseling
2. The baby comes out healthy & raised in a healthy environment
3. Tae learns what it takes to be a man, and find positive guidance from constantly being in precarious situations.

Sometimes we put athletes on pedestals; I wanna win like the next man, but if we’re talking about getting back to the right culture, some things can’t be tolerated. Again, I’m very sure the University is not simply going off an allegation. We’ve seen this regime (Richt/Diaz) stick their necks out for Walton after his situation, and bring back JT4 after his situation. I highly doubt they would dismiss Tae off an allegation.

Sounds like you’ve got the double standard, as if hitting a woman is worse than hitting a man. Thankfully unless she’s pregnant, the law doesn’t care if it is a man hitting a woman or a woman hitting a man. They are both considered illegal and subject to the same punishment. Furthermore, a woman lays her hands on me, I can beat her unconscious just the same as I can beat a man. No double standard. Anything else is just some personal cultural belief.

This was/is an opportunity for him to become a better person and father. If he takes those steps in a very public way, there could be a chance for him to rejoin the team.

Would u want R Kelly around your daughter? Would say the same about oj? Both had their charges dropped.
let’s keep it 💯..the only reason some think it’s a no brainer to take him back is because of his talent level..talent gets you chances to have some behavior and actions tolerated..but idk if this type of issue can nor should be tolerated because of his talent

Rkelly, OJ? Really are you comparing those two to Avantae.
First of all neither of those two had their charges dropped and seco dly no one's daughter plays for the miami hurricanes.

Not surprised at this reply from you.

Yeah; this situation was a little personal to me just b/c I had a cousin who died from DV and she defended, didn’t cooperate w/ police to press charges against ole boy. But completely removing my emotions from this, this is an opportunity for Tae to get right. It can happen. I just don’t want the opposite to happen; that air of arrogance that I’m a football player & can get away w/ anything. I’m hoping for the former & not the latter.

If he’s back on the team, I’m hoping the staff makes him work for every single thing, teach him discipline, self respect, and he’s humbled, & grateful for an opportunity to play for this prestigious school.
