Will WSU's hurry up offense help us?

Since there will be no time for defensive calls to come from D'no on the sideline, our D will need to play with a particular approach and the leaders on the field will call the sets. Hopefully the approach is aggressive and attacking. I don't even care if we get gashed, just don't play some passive POS defense.

My fear is that he'll have a set defense that plays the cb's a zillion yards off the ball as opposed to letting them do what they're born and raised to do.

The only thing that would help a D'No coached defense is if the other team didn't show up.

We've watched FIVE FREAKING years of this idiot Dorito, so we know he'll have DT's flipping sides in the middle of the snap and DB's 17 yards off back pedaling read and react! I have no doubt that we'll concede huge chunks of yardage against WSU's 2&3* players. Best thing about this game is knowing it's Doritos last!

Our secondary is probably the strength of the defense, and it's not like they don't know what's coming.

I know one of their coaches said our defense is simple; but by the same token so is their offense. You know they are throwing it. Not much to it.

If we can get a few turnovers, we'll be ok.

what helps miami on d is that washington state is a passing team that doesn't run ball alot. that alone helps miami on d. miami sucks against run teams that whooped us ran it down our throats.

miami's pass d is solid. even if playing an offball zone. its our run d that has sucked balls all year.

Nope. We'll have 4 or 5 illegal substitution plays that'll help on their scoring drives, particularly at the end of the half and end of game

I just hope these kids freelance a bit- what's going to happen to them if they do? It not like the defensive staff is being retained and it might just make our d better.

2 things
1 wsu does not run a hurry up offense you will find that out today. They will run the play clock down under 10 a lot as it is Falk's job to change every play called to move players and exploit the best one on one match up.

2 if your DC puts 7-8 in coverage luke falk will hand the ball off all day long. If there at 6 or less in the box wsu will run it any time they can. Oregon did it and wsu had 196 on the ground less the qb sack yards that took it to 165. No one did that again all season on D so they just passed.

Sweethearts, get ready for three hours of prolonged torture at the hands of a vengeful, twice-scorned pirate. Nothing's gonna help.

Our secondary is going to be confused. "Blown assignment" will be the phrase of the game.

Onofrio will find a way to ***** it up. Remember when Duke was running their hurry up and he kept trying to substitute players and we kept getting penalties for too many men on the field? Onofrio doesn't understand the concept of adjustment and game planning. He runs his defense and if we get hammered, then so be it.
