Do you think we will win out between now and VT and if so will be in the top 10. Zero ranked teams between now and VT.


I don’t think we will win out between now and VT, I have BC as an L.

But I think even if we won out between now and then we still wouldn’t be in the top 10. We don’t have a game between now and then to showcase. FSU is a mess.

idk about you all, but for my own well being I'm just taking game by game at this point... too much unknown with possible QB changes (please sweet baby jesus)!!! and even if there is a change, how does that QB or multiple QB's fair?? ditto with Punter

The new QB can’t be any worse than Rosier so there’s that.
 
With Rosier at QB I can see every game left on the schedule as a toss up except Sav St. With a competent QB we could be top 10. With Rosier no .

There is a very strong chance BC is undefeated by the time we play them. Go look at their schedule.

Good point. I think Purdue, NC St. & Louisville will be tough for them. But good lord their schedule after that. Miami, VT, Clemson, FSU all in a row.
 
I'm worried about Toledo, BC, UNC, Ga. Tech and VT. If Malik is the starter, all they need to do is put 8 in the box and we're done. We're going to need some lucky plays like we did last year to get to 9 wins.
 
VT is going to take us to the woodshed and beat the **** out miami.. Foster has seen this pathetic offense for 3 years. and on defense , we will be out position and have the wrong personnel . Their HC and OC are playing ball with an offense designed new and updated weekly.

That pathetic offense beat the crap out of VT last year. Also, learn to form coherent sentences.

Matters how long Rosier stays QB1 if he stays in after FSU this season is a wash.
 
With our remaining schedule and if this team gets its act together, which I think they will, can't see us losing more than 1 more game.

FSU has = talent but we out talent everyone else and should be favored vs all including FSU.

Couple that with the simple fact the teams in front of us will lose games also and we will be in the top 10 by mid -Oct thanks to our easy schedule.
 
I don't know about all of that. We might, because we won't be facing any defensive lines like LSU's for a while. But what I saw on Sunday was an offensive line that got mauled, a QB that couldn't execute, special teams that were as bad as I've ever seen on a Miami team, and a defense that had too many mental errors.

If we replace the QB, that's one step. If we can get some of the mental things fixed on defense, that's another. But I don't see any answer for our offensive line - that one is just a talent gap between ourselves and the best top 5 teams in America. You can't coach a guy not to get driven back 5 yards on every play.... you just need better guys.

We're still a couple years away IMO from being truly elite.

But top 10? IDK, could be somewhere in that 10-15 ballpark.
