Will this facility still be built?

If there’s a big enough contribution from a donor or group of donors, yes. However, the focus is (rightly) NIL $$$ and improving the facilities we have.

The days of old are gone, kids don’t place a premium on the best facilities. If the NIL $$ is good and the facilities are also good, that’s what matters most.

There's no need to mislead people this way. It's possible to do both at once. Some donors are willing to make contributions for NIL, and other donors want their names on buildings.

Again, though there have been no announcements yet, IF Miami wants to go into a P2 and IF Miami wants to add more sports, then we will DEFINITELY need to build additional office and administrative space in that area.

The math is simple. When the announcements come, there will be a bunch of them.

But please stop telling people that NIL is somehow crippling UM's ability to do all the other building that we need to do.

I’m confused because that’s not what I said at all? I said that the focus is on NIL and improving the facilities we have. When we get enough donors lined up for the facility than we’ll do it. We could in theory do both, we’re just not.

We will absolutely do both when we need to do both.

I would rather the cash go into NIL...facilities really dont matter anymore when it comes to talent acquisition. Expanding the weight room and IPF is good enough as those are mandatory expectations. We dont need lounges, arcades, slides etc
This is not actually correct by the way because often the cash offers are essentially the same so just like coaching relationships matter facilities will again matter when it is essentially about where do you wanna live and hang out for the next 2 to 4 years

I agree with this. If the money stays a big deal then players will start to pick based off of why not have the best of both worlds. look at TTech facilities as an example.
