Will Saban Return To Coaching?

He’s not coming back. Doesn’t want any part of the **** show that is now CFB. A comeback would destroy his legacy.
Well, he wears makeup on ESPN every weekend for the whole country to watch

I think he actually enjoys being a HC and wants to come back and run a program.

If he has the energy to travel with that circus of beta-weirdos every weekend, I think he has it in him to wear the whistle again.

IMO Urban Meyer is the better college coach and would be more successful at Miami.

Saban requires unlimited money to win. Meyer was successful at every level of cfb even at programs without resources.

I also think he would be more realistic. Saban went out on top. Meyer’s career ended in utter embarrassment and a destruction of his reputation. I am a little concerned that if UF fires Napier, Meyer would take that job again.
Another coach that is wasting away is Pat Fitzgerald.

He got ran outta NU on some complete BS.

Last I heard, he was coaching at Loyola Academy in the suburbs of Chicago and dominating.

Lou and Nick, think they might be distant cousins. That is not even known. Who is hiring a 74 year old coach to run their program? This talk is silly.
Dude. I had that all wrong. My bad and thank you for correcting me. I had it in my memory that was his dad. Oof.

The main duty of a HC these days is talent acquisition.

Saban would be able to put together a solid staff and roster.

The idea he couldn't do it is laughable.

But he was only has to travel 13-14 weeks a year and can go back to the beach during the week. As we all know, being a HC at a D1 program demands 24/7/365 attention.

No chance..he had the ultimate set up..a best friend protector who looked the other way while he gave out some chargers...not millions in nil.
His fake *** legacy is secure.

It would hypothetically be the most Quit Saban move ever, that's for sure. Can only be a goat when he has no rules to follow, as they get enforced on everyone else with an iron fist.

Donald De La Haye lost his entire scholarship/collegiate career at UCF because of his OWN youtube channel that gave him zero competitive advantage within the sport itself.

Setting aside the semantics of the success he's had with his career since then, I have to ask:

Why should quit saban be allowed anywhere near coaching in any capacity, when he is actively influencing the direction of rules and regulations being potentially brought to the sport and NIL? There's simply way too much fundamentally wrong with that scenario.

6 road games a year and a handful of in-house visits starts looking a lot like the same amount of traveling that ESPN does.

His scratching an itch and has not retired.

Head Coach is a larger work load. No argument there. I doubt hes bothered by traveling. I doubt he spends much time at home, tbh.

He can scratch that itch with a conch shell off the beach.
