Will Richt be allowed to pick his own OC?

If UM finishes 6-7 losing a bowl, I'm not so sure. If UM wins a bowl game and finishes 8-5 or better, then he'll be able to do whatever he wants for another year.

That'll be fun interview. I prefer to run 5 plays, always start with a run up the middle & I like to play a QB who I told would never play for me. Oh and by the way my son would be your QB coach. Thoughts?

Honestly.. I think all of us need to be worried about Bobo getting fired at CSU. He would gladly run Richts 1980s offense & take Jon under his wing.

Should be given a list but don’t worry he’s going to do the right thing and get a new OC....his son Jon.

Rark Micht.

He'll walk into the press conference with a fake mustache & all the media will be like is that you Mark?

After 45 seconds of awkward silence... "No", then he'll just slowly walk out of the room as if no one notices.

He’s going to do whatever he wants. That’s how it should be.

Doesn’t do anything? Same failures next year? He’s gone

Picks a bad OC to run his bad offense? Same failures next year? He’s gone

Chooses a successful OC from the Hal Mumme coaching tree? We light teams up next year? He’s a King

It has to be his decision. He’s responsible. And if he chooses poorly, then Blake James needs to go first.

The admin needs to handle this just right there is a lot of money and butts at risk in the locker room.

If CMR picks his own OC it will most likely be......Fred Flintstone with Barney as the QB coach. That way they continue to be "archaic", as some have labeled Richt's offense.

He’s a beatin beatin man. I think he just rides out this misery until it becomes too much.

If he does I’ll expect someone will NFL experience.

Like Schottenheimer? Pass.

People gotta stop with this NFL pedigree ****. The brightest offensive minds in football are predominantly coming from college, as evidenced by the fact that the NFL is ripping all their stuff off. The Chiefs and Rams are spread teams using concepts that have been done in college for years.

It isn't that hard with our talent, find one of these guys that specializes in getting guys open in space and worry about the rest later.

Someone mentioned Dan Enos from Alabama but I doubt we can get him if they are looking to make it worth his while to stay.

However, just looking at offense in the Top 25 of the S&P+ rankings on offense:

-The way Ole Miss is headed, Phil Longo might be looking to jump ship
-Maybe we could out-bid West Virginia for Spavital if he wants a higher profile gig
-Spurrier Jr. now has experience under Brohm and Leach
-Brian Wright is the OC/QB coach at Toldeo and they give everyone nightmares (interesting note: Beard is their Dir of Player Personnel...bring him back as an analyst?)
