what do you guys think? without williams here (if so) he will have no competition.

i am not sure the guy is really a film junkie or committed to putting in a ton of extra time outside of what he does do through the coaching staff. that said we wont have flip flop itis going on either.

so will he improve or not?

He actually played well down the stretch. Didn't turn the ball over, played hard and showed leadership.

If our receievers had held on to every easy catch he would have had a monster game vs VT and a rock solid start vs Pitt.

Needs to stop worrying about the party and more about getting better

Jon Richt aint helping him get to another level

Our receivers need to remember besides running a good route, blocking that catching the **** ball is their number 1 job

I'm going to go out on a limb and say no. I can see him getting suspended before I can see him being mature and getting better. Also, this O is so bad we probably wouldn't be able to see the improvement if any is made.

It's not all about quarterback Talent. Coaching matters as well. Situational awareness matters. The calming down effect matters. The getting the quarterback going early in games matters.

Dude idk if he has it above the shoulders I’d like to be proven wrong but I also would love to see jarren get a shot at this wiscy game for the love of god

Perry got worst during the season, was suspended and everything I have read/listen he's horrible in practices. I don't think this is a winning formula.

He lacks consistency on his accuracy, doesn't seem to be a vocal leader and is not overly athletic to be a real threat with his legs.

I hope I'm wrong and being the QB1 from the first practice on spring helps his confidence and he can improve his accuracy and mechanics, but not holding my breath.

Hopefully that maturity comes real soon. Sometimes it takes longer for others. Dude is gonna be a Jr (Rs soph) and that is about the time the light turns on for many, from my experience working with college students.

Had this conversation the other day. Bottomline is this - if he treats this like a job, then he and we will be successful. That means, no more dorking around and partying. He's got to get his *** in the chair, watch tons of film, reach out to former QB's for help, hit the weight room and practice, practice, PRACTICE with whichever WR's decide to stick with the team.

If and it is a huge IF he decides to do this, then we actually can pull out of this next year, win 10-11 games, which will have an immediate impact on recruiting and possibly turn things around.

Until he matures mentally, nothing is going to improve on the field. I don’t think he is taking this serious enough to improve.

Kid has an arm. Just nothing upstairs. Before the racist police bangs me up for this comment I will say I believe Jack Allison to be equally as brain dead.

If he uses those buggy eyes to have a little more pocket awareness, and our WRs spend some time learning how to catch...why the **** not!?

He has much higher ceiling than Malik. If Malik can bring us a 10 win season, he should do it better
