Will Mallory

Tough crowd. Go to bed and when you wake up from your fog, log back in and slap yourselves in your head after reading what you wrote. Bunch of dumb threads, this may be the worst of them all come seasons end.

Go back and watch the replay. That was pass interference against Mallory.

But yeah, he didn't live up to the hype tonight and seemed unable to catch the ball when it hit him in the hands. Hope that changes soon.

Because they’re too busy trying to make Tate feel better . Ridiculous how many snaps he got at WR
That was my only true complaint about the coaching why are we playing tate when he has been a receiver for a week and a half over guys like pope, Wiggins, hightower, peyton. That is all the coaches fault false starts, delay of games are jitters and stuff that players can adjust with experience being an imbussile and playing a qb at wr instead of 4 and 5 star true wrs who get open is a huge mistake

I highly remember that first drive. Him and Jordan in motion ALOT. After that I don’t remember seeing them in motion together

Its a crying shame they wasted plays trying to appease tate, that guy brings nothing.. to this team on gameday, he wasnt outrunning nobody on the gaytors defense, at least attempt a jet sweep with him with the option to pass. Im still not understanding alot of the play calls, alot of those playcalls didnt help the young tackles either, leaving nelson on an island by himself and not having jarren climb the pocket was interesting. The gaytors got all the help they needed from the ref's to get this game, from calls against us to no calls that should've been made, other than that, the defense played solid enuff to win this game. To many wasted offensive calls in the redzone, should've lined up in the power-I on the second series, coach diaz belongs at the helm, that's for sure, if it wasnt for the refs, we had this game, but even with the b.s. officiating we still should've had the game.

Everyone giving up on Mallory will look stupid. I'm also not sure I get it. He didn't do anything tonight but he was the least of our problems.

When you have 2 TE’s on the field at the same time for most of the game and one of them cant get open, catch or block, there is a problem.

Did Mallory struggle last night? Absolutely. No way getting around that. Will be get better? Yes. He has the makings of a good one. Maybe a very good one. Time will tell. Hope the Greentree Will eventually becomes the Saturday thriving under the spotlight Will sooner than later. But, don't give up on this kid.

Your only complaint was Tate. I only noticed him in the game on three wild cat formations and two of them were effective. He didn't run a single route Don't talk like he was in the WR rotation.

Go back in watch it he played wr a lot and not only that but when Thomas dropped the td in the endzone that could have won the game guess who was out there with him martell. He played alot snaps at wr just rewatch it

1. That ball y'all are complaining about that went through his hands was thrown away too hard. He barely had time to get his hands up. Jarren will get better.
2 It's hard to be an All-Star when you're not utilized.
3. Those saying he is not explosive might want to have a look at his track times.

not using a 6-5 guy with a huge catch radius in a game where your offensive line can't block the field turf is surprising to me to say the least. He should have seen plays designed for him. Stop the hating at least until he fails doing something he actually had a chance to succeed at.

Fortunately I didn't DVR it. I don't know if I could stomach it again. There are so many thing that need to be cleaned up, I don't think the WR rotation is high on the priority list.

Did Mallory even catch one ball? Based on the box he didn't catch anything.

Yea it could have because pope could have gotten under route and could have made a play but we persistent in playing martell there. All the mental mistakes get fixed with experience not worried about false starts and delay of games for the first game

Just checked the numbers he saw 15 snaps and I think only 3 were wildcat

Boy was I wrong on this one, maybe I drank the kool aid a little prematurely lol
Still early days but today was a stinker

Same, man. But the reports I had heard were "Mallory catches everything thrown is his pterodactyl-like range", so I mean we were't fools to expect he wouldn't make multiple horrific drops come game time. Brevin balled out; Mallory **** the bed. No other way to package it.

I thought it was more on Enos than Mallory. Just my opinion. How the **** is Mallory going to catch 8 passes for 100 yards if the QB is on his back?

You got me there. Given how the game went, on TV, I can focused on the OL and didn't notice Tate except in the wildcat formations. The TV screen doesn't give a good picture of the WR formations and route patterns. I stand corrected.

Still, if I'm Manny or Enos watching the game tape this morning, I'm more concerned about the OL situation and the overall readiness to play than the WR rotation. One thing that I notice is that Hightower didn't seem to get much burn until late. And while people are railing on Mallory for his drop, he didn't seem to get many targets.
