Mallory gets more love on the national scene than he does at home with our fan base. I proudly say that IMO, Mallory is a rare athletic talent who has a very bright NFL future. His blocking is a work in progress, but so was Njoku. Geseki for the Dolphins also isn’t a good blocker, but he can run and catch. Mallory might be taller and faster than both

Mallory won the Mackey TE of the week twice, and Jordan also won it twice. That has to be a remarkable record for any program in any given year. Great recruiting point for CMD and Lashlee. Hope to see them both on the field soon, but if not, we are still in good shape

not sure mackey considers pitts a tight end. they didn't last year.

1. For John Mackey Award (JMA) and Watch List consideration a player should be a “true tight end” in the style of John Mackey, play on the interior line with blocking responsibilities and possess the potential to play tight end on the professional level.
