Will Mallory has officially arrived..

He is atleast catching the passes now.. People tend to excuse the **** poor blocking when you atleast make nice catches but mich st game type drops just made us shake your head.. I dont think he will ever have functional strength to be that type of blocker but split out he can be a weapon

Nice to not see him walking/running all gimpy

Needs to work on his **** blocking but yeah he definitely Will be a weapon with arroyo next year
 
Has there ever been a great TE that just couldn't block?

Mallory looks really good now with his confidence back. We have a nice two headed monster for next year.
 
The 3 knocks against him were 1) soft; 2) couldn't hold on to the **** ball and 3) couldn't block.

HE's fixed 1 and 2. Just needs to learn to be a somewhat respectable blocker. Have him work out with the linemen in the offseason or something.

Some kids are just late bloomers. Have to admit I gave up on him at the beginning of the season, but so glad he's coming back!

The dude seemed hurt for 3 years.
He was wearing a knee brace the size of a Toyota for most games.
If he stays healthy there is no reason he isn’t a draft pick.
This is a sport that is tasking on the body. Some players need time to grow into their body before they can maximize potential.
