Will Lingard stay now that Enos and DJ are gone?

He stays (sure hoping so) we'll idealisticly have 3 5* rbs (yeah I know) on rooster. We'll need them all for our new starting Qb next year.

Why leave and sit out a year when you can stay another year and then leave as a grad transfer and not have to sit?
Ah, Lingard will be a rsh sophomore next year. He's only been in college 2 years. He wouldn't graduate until 2022 and then have 1 more year of eligibility.

I think it makes sense for him to stay unless he has some personal beef with Manny.

He could graduate after next season or after spring of 2021 at the latest and have 2 years eligibility as a grad transfer and no sitting out. Football players taking summer classes typically graduate quicker

Cam looks "fine" at best. I'm not writing him off or anything due to this horrid OC and OL play, but RB1 is Lingard's for the taking next year.

Harris simply doesn't have the elite physical tools a healthy Lingard should have. There's a reason why Nay'quan played more than Cam in HS

To my amateur eye, Cam looked more explosive and agile his freshman year in limited duty.

I like Cam, but would have liked to see at least what Lingard could do.

He should have done himself a favor by asking the HC for a week or two off. He might have seen some playing time then.

Agreed. Last year, he really looked like he was going to be special, but this year, he's looked lackluster by comparison. This is why I hope Lingard stays. I think Lo will have an opportunity to become our RB1.

horse-hockey, Bull-chyt ... GTFOOH

If the whole offensive staff is gutted, it's reasonable to assume that a number might portal since many of their lead recruiters will be gone.

Understand your point but as a former college player, once you’re in a program for a few years like most of our offensive returnees will be, the relationship with the coach that recruited you pales in comparison with the relationships you now have with your teammates and college friends. And besides, there’s not a single offensive guy that recruited any of these guys except the few freshmen like Payton, the rest of the guys were recruited by Richt and company

Lingard will have an excellent chance of being RB1 now that DJ is gone and our recently departed OC has been escorted out of the building. There's been a lot of buzz about Lingard leaving, but in light of today's announcements, is anyone hearing anything regarding Lingard?
Buzz from where that Lingard is leaving? From where

It’s utterly ridiculous on why he didn’t play this season especially with the new redshirt rules.

If Irvin would have stalemated the defender, there would have been s hole.

Burns didn’t run into him. Irvin got blown up into his lap.

I want to see Lingard, too, but Burns had nowhere to go with Irvin moving backwards so fast.
