KJ has a 65% completion percentage. Enos is the reason KJ suddenly wasn't as good. Wrong system for the QB. KJ has passed for more yardage and TD's than Will Howard has yet you are now complaining about not getting Will Howard vs KJ when he is the better option. Look at the QB Rating and he even throws less interceptions. His rating dropped under (what a surprise) Enos. Completion percentage is still more under ***** than Will Howard has ever thrown. LMFAO

There is also a **** of a difference in the SEC West vs the PAC.

You do understand that 65% completion percentage is equivalent to what Cam Ward throws right? Jacurri can improve but no way he is what a seasoned vet from the SEC like KJ is next season. You seen Jacurri play. He is a work in progress. Jacurri knows this himself and that is why HE requested the redshirt this year. Jacurri has 2 years after a seasoned veteran leaves to compete with Emory if he sticks around.

All of this conversation may be for no reason any way. With that said, our coaches let Will Howard walk for a reason. My bet is he wasn't offered the same NIL $ as Ward and felt like sloppy seconds. Why he has been rumored to both USC and now OSU. This conversation is about who is next after Ward say's yes or no then KJ is the better option. Our staff has been waiting around any way. Might as well have KJ visit in January vs settling for Howard IMO.

All three of Howard, KJ and Jacurri would have the same type of offensive gameplan as Clayton Thune at Houston, while Ward (Pass first QB) and TVD will/would have the less run oriented QB offensive gameplan.

We don't have any idea what has been discussed and worked out between the two sides. Maybe Ward is all in and Mario said he wanted to wait until the new years playoff games to announce to make a big splash?

No one knows anything and people get all worked up without knowing any of the facts.

a week ago Howard to USC was a done deal. Now its Howard to Ohio State. Where is DJU headed? FSU? why havent they announced yet?

Everyone should just give this time and let it breathe. It will all work out and if it doesnt there will be plenty of offseason afterward to ***** about it.

I Don't think so. I think they will surprise us. a lot of people talk about developing Qb's and what not so why should we take in a Transfer if we want our young guys to develop, they need playing time. I think we will be alright.

Idk my assumption/Opinon is they are all waiting to see how brown performs during bowl game. Maybe. Mario may be willing to ride with brown next year depending on the outcome. i read all over the pages here and everyone says brown transferring after the game but we shall see. I Dont think its the end of the world if we don't get a transfer in and we ride with Brown or williams next year.

My concern is taking stats and blaming the OC at one school, while watching the same thing happen to a QB before our eyes… TVD went from the **** to the ***** under different OCs and schemes…we blame the QB here but the OC there…

KJ could be very good here, IF we run the right offense for him to be successful…

Look at the stats and focus on the two years prior to Enos. They tell you what you want to know.

The mobility of all 3 of the QB's being mentioned adds more to the offense that was being called for TVD any way. Even Mario wasn't against Read Option, Zone Read and RPO's based on what was ran at Oregon. In fact, I believe he encourages it. Dawson can run all of that. TVD's lack of mobility hurt our offense and made him a target for being hit and getting injured despite having a really good OL this season. TVD's greed in throwing into coverage, locking on to Restrepo or the primary target much of the time hindered this offense. Also, TVD showed a tendency to want the big play and throw into coverage vs settling for what was right in front of him. We had 2nd and 3rd receivers open all season long. All three of those QB's like to improvise when the play breaks down, something TVD didn't do well. At the very least, they will take off and gain significant yardage that TVD couldn't.

I agree if Ward doesn't come. I have him as #2 over Howard. He won games at lowly Arkansas in the SEC under an OC not named Enos or ***** as far as I am concerned. Perhaps why our coaches appear to be letting Howard continually shop himself. 65% completion percentage 2 consecutive years under Briles. Dawson has a simpler system than ***** as well.

I am good with substantially improving the QB room by any means possible!
