Will gets it.

Man I hope he is healthy all season and King finds him.
Yes, he could explode. Need Lashlee to put him in jump ball situations, too. I think we're missing that in our offense. Not that I want Richt's jump ball goal line packages back, but don't feel like we have maximized Mallory's height advantage yet.

Where you at in Kansas? I get up to Wichita quite a bit.

Seems like a good kid. I would like to see him shake the injury bug and become a major target this season.

On a side note, he hosted Helms last weekend. We're in a good spot with him thanks to Will and Coach Field.

I see flashes of Jeremy Shockey with Will.. we have to utilize him like that.. we pretty much beat alot of teams with just Shockey he pretty much was a matchup nightmare for opposing defense???? Lashlee gotta utilize Will more this season..

Not to start a debate just my opinion but not only was he poorly utilized , he shouldn’t have been second fiddle as long as he has been. He should have been a star by now
Agree but no doubt injuries plagued him. Also his first year was mental/confidence/drop issues. Then he just was always banged up. Even when Brevin went down he still put up numbers but he couldn't hit that next gear like he had shown before, I think something was nagging him and he fought through it when Brevin was out.

He's improved his stats every year so far and I expect a big jump from him now that he's TE1. 40+ catches, 600+ yards, 8+ TD's. Those numbers are about what Brevin did last year in 8 games. Think that should be the floor for Mallory unless he gets hurt.

His Sophomore year he lead the nation in drop %age among all receivers with a minimum of (I think) 30 targets. Wasn't just his first year.

Seems to have really started to put it together last year, but until proven otherwise, he remains a Greentree All American.

Might be right. I just remember one year it was extra bad.

I'm right. I looked it up for a conversation here the other day. I knew he was bad but I didn't think he was THAT bad.

I just keep finding myself surprised at how high people are on him relative to the production at this point. Admittedly, he looked much more consistent and ready to emerge last year, and I'm excited about his potential.
