15/22 of the projected starters are upperclassmen.

Experience at every position.

Returning QB, kicker, punter.

I don't think there's any question this will be his most well-rounded team.

It won't matter because the team has tuned him out but it's a shame because this team will have some fine players.

2011 was his most talented roster followed by this year.

He had the advantage of the kids from Shannon's last good recruiting class (his second one).

This is Golden's most talented roster......recruited in his second year.

Hmmmmmm.....

Does coaches get a boost in recruiting by playing the "previous coach sucked and you will win with me game"?

2011?

Can you name all the guys on that team who currently play in the NFL as more than a 3rd stringer?

I think it's a good conversation between 2011, this year, and next year. We lose a lot this year, but I think we'll have a more balanced roster among classes next year. We're taking such a big hit this year because we're losing stud Juniors (who have not confirmed their exit quite yet). I would like to fully participate in this conversation after the whole roster shakes out.

Even if it is it doesn't matter. Al is a talent killer. It's almost impossible to consistently succeed under him. It's all about Al Golden. He doesn't have anything to offer these kids.

Wyche should not even be listed IMO. He is an absolute abomination. I dont give a flying f*** about coaching, scheme, technique...any human being that is that big and (reportedly) strong...should AT LEAST be able to hold ground at the point of attack/engagement. Some (outside of golden, even though he obvisouly beat it like a drum) claimed he was 'out of shape' and 'fell behind'. Look, I cant argue that he was a little bit behind because of the time he missed...but give me a break if that can be used as an excuse when he would only play in spurts...not to mention the kid would get pushed back between 3-5 yards routinely regardless of whether it was his first, second, or third play in a row.

We have had some guys the last few years that were rough to watch but wyche...kid takes the cake for me. Some of the guys we have all came down hard on could at least point to a disadvantage in size or athletic ability. Wyche is an enormous guy with strength. Is he tall and thus facing a challenge in terms of his center of gravity vs strong and shorter o-linemen? sure...but i still dont see that as a viable excuse for him being dominated on every single snap he participated in.

It's not like this year was void of talent. Just a top 5 rb and a top 5 lb and one of the best freshman qbs if not the best. Talent isn't the issue. Coaching is. Not the players no longer is this the players fault.

People are still holding unto that we had no talent... The ACC was harder and that team still competed... We should have won all our games that year... We had our back-ups against Maryland and they should have won... We lost every game within the last minute... We had the lead late in every game but our garbage defense allowed each team to drive down the field and score... That team had productive players... You don't have the 2nd and 3rd all -time passers in school history on the roster, several wideouts that ranked among the top 10 in school history, 2 nfl backs(3 at one point), a few all conference linemen, all conference players on defense, etc. And win 6 games... The reason we never was blown out was because we were better than our opponents... I see us struggling next year... I don't see any gamebreakers on offense like Dorsett or Duke... Its going to be harder...

Doesn't matter one way or another, Al Golden having a talented team is like Ray Charles having a fast car.
