You remember what it was like on Grassy/Scout. About half (or more) wanted Golden gone by halftime of his first game. And it didn’t let up.

puñeta!! This team and coaching is pure trash. We are going 5-7 at best. We are the joke of CFB. We are the team where 4 stars come to die and underperform. We run an offense that is 20 years behind.

This is much more likely than us going 10-2. We’ll finish either 6-6 or 7-5. Not sure who it’s possible for a Miami team to be worse than we were last year, but based on what I’ve seen so far, We’re worse than last year,

Bro what you fail to realize is that the Canes are the weakest team on the schedule of all the remaining teams we play.

I was on Grassy/Scout back then and I was FAR from being alone in wanting Golden gone b4 halftime.

That near unanimous support for Golden memory... except for Shannon supporters.... is a figment of someone's imagination

Agreed.

Having said that, we have seen the team recover from a bad start to the season recently. In CMR’s first year, we started 4-4. After our offense started clicking, we dominated the rest of the year and finished 9-4.

I am not saying that history will repeat itself, but I can see a reasonable scenario where the right adjustments by Enos and growth from our young OL and QB result in a decent finish.

The good news is we have our next three games at home. Let’s see if we can get 3 wins.

That's funny but he was a perfect example of a coach where if you evaluated the coaching process from game to game you'd see that he's a horrible coach. Also his recruiting process was terrible but he still landed some die-hard Canes that balled out. Does that make him a decent recruiter or a terrible recruiter?

Again process over results when you're evaluating.
