I’m actually surprised he’s been used in coverage as much as he has. I always thought he was a good blitzer and used off the edge on pass downs but going backwards is not his strength. Chase either.

Toure and Smith were by far our biggest liabilities on the entire defense last year, especially in coverage, and they are deciding to run it back - worse not give any reps to Wiley and Pruitt. Insanity.

Oldtimers definitely struggle in coverage, so surprised they don’t split them & pair them with more athletic LBs. Like to see more of 17, 4 & 11. Coaches don’t yet trust 30 or he’s nicked up.

I mean I’m a huge Dolphins fan. But I’m not as versed in professional as I am my Canes. I grew up watching the 90s Dolphins with Marino on his last legs. Saw the best and worst of Wannsted. And have suffered through the rest of last few years growing less and less interested. I still follow the draft and watch the games but just don’t follow the behind the scenes stuff.

5'11 230 is not protypical, but I do believe he's earned more snaps and he can help the defense.

He's not going to win the first guy off the bus award, but that kid plays fast and he's a violent tackler. He's definitely earned more snaps in my book.

You would think by being an 8th year guy, Toure would be cerebral out there. Still fitting runs wrong a lot, bad eyes, and can’t cover. Free the youngins.

lol no he would not. PoPo is not athletic and he is not great in coverage either. He would just be more of what Chase and Mo are providing.

Popo is a much better athlete than post injury Chase smith and way better in coverage than Toure it’s not even close. Popo is going to be an all conference selection in the conference we play in. He already has 27 tackles and a forced fumble in 3 games.
