Welcome to the playoffs for Miami. We win, and we are in ACC title game and playoffs.

We lose and seasonnis over. Get a Dukes Mayo Bowl, Sun Bowl, or Gator bowl invite. Ward, Martinez, WR's, Arroyo, Barrow, Baron, Kiko, etc.. probably opt out so it would be a glorified spring scrimmage in bowl game.

Regardless what happens in ACC title game with win @Cuse, Miami will be in playoffs. Now we want to win that game also, for seeding and bye purposes. With that said Only scenario where Miami doesnt get in is a bully beatdown in title game where they are non competitive, which is highly unlikely.

Commmittee already set precedent by saying they are not punishing conference title game losers.

If Ward plays clean, and DL plays a good game we should win.

Hope Demari can give us some snaps. He would be a necessity. Would love him on Gadson if he can go.

Hope they dont play Ryan R., dont need him with how OL is playing, and he could be be very rusty. Dont need missed assignment or penalty.

Rotate Popo, keep FM fresh. Hope we get some exotics. Blitz FM, drop a DL steal an INT and possession.

Pound the football on offense. Ward needs to take checkdowns, and also keep chains moving with his legs. He needs to play a clean game with decisions pre snap, he threw ball a few times last week where if he handed ball off we get really good yardage.

Dawson gives him freedom, he needs to play wise.

Take shots if available.

Front 4 needs to play best game of year.

Committee was talking about $EC and B1G only.
 
I agree with you on everything you wrote. We win this game and as long as it's competitive in the ACC title game I think we get in based on the losses that happened last week. Of course I'd prefer for us to win the ACC and get the bye.

Every team out there is flawed and the combination of getting Damari back and Mesidor playing outside may give us a little defensive juice to compete at the highest level.

With Cam, our O-Line and skill guys I'm not writing us off in this field with full awareness that a lot of good things would need to happen.
 
With Ole Miss and Alabama losing, it opened the door for 2 ACC teams in.

Miami could be #6 in tonights rankings.

All depends on how this Miami teams focuses, locks in, and wins a tough game in a tough environment.

I think we will be laser focused, and similiar vibe as Louisville game, with Defense playing tad better.

They may not "punish" conference game losers. But they can leave them out for S.O.S... that's my 2 cents.

Almost every game the last few months has felt like a playoff game.

Hopefully that mentality and the experience of pressure filled close wins help us out in the long run.

Teams like ND have not played close games against anyone lately so that may be their downfall when they get punched in the face by real teams.
Our players have had to face adversity in so many games.
 
If we want 2 ACC teams in, cheer for:

Texas A&M to lose to Texas
Georgia to lose to GT
Bama to lose the iron bowl
Tennessee to lose to Vandy
ND lose to USC
South Carolina to lose to Clemson

Honest to God I think that’s what it will take. The committee is scared ****less of ****ing off the SEC and B1G. The B1G will have 4 teams in most likely with Oregon, Ohio, Penn St and Indiana. The SEC, today, has at least 3 with Texas, Georgia, and Tenn. ND makes 8. ACC champ makes 9, Big XII makes 10 and G5 makes 11. They are dying to give that last spot to an SEC team as the 12 seed.

There is a lot of explicit pressure being put on by the commissioners of both conferences to get as many of their teams in as possible. They are leveraging hard up to saying they will just start their own league and playoffs. I won’t be shocked if a 3 loss SEC team gets in at all

theyre waiting on the loser of miami SMU to drop so they can put bama back in there

I say go ahead. let them start their own.
 
If Miami and SMU both win (both 11-1), both teams will make the CFB playoffs IMHO.

I would love to see us get that CFP playoff first round bye and for Mario (not Rhett) to establish that the Canes are the new standard for the ACC
