Will a spread OC be able to utilize both Jordan and Mallory effectively? At the same time? Don’t see too many spread coordinators use two TE sets
David Yost did at Missouri with Chase Coffman and Martin Rucker. Will a spread OC be able to utilize both Jordan and Mallory effectively? At the same time? Don’t see too many spread coordinators use two TE sets
Hightower 6'3, Njoku almost 6'7 and Mallory is a glorified WR - all of them did nothing all year. Call me crazy, but I don't think Cager would have solved a single thing
Not blaming pope for that, Perry has a problem throwing ints to defenders where no receiver is around as he’s done that multiple times in the past .So Mark Pope last night on that INT in the 4th quarter was either a bad route by Pope or a throw Nkosi thought was suppose to be an out and not a post. (WHO RUNS A PIST ROUTE THAT CLOSE TO THE SIDLINE). With that being said the way some say Pope has had problems picking up the play book I'm more inclined with Pope running the wrong route which is not what a big time WR do!!
Pope was right there...go back and watch the game. Either a miscommunications or a bad route!!Not blaming pope for that, Perry has a problem throwing ints to defenders where no receiver is around as he’s done that multiple times in the past .
Pope was not right where that db caught it, he was well behind him and closer to the sideline and was open. IPope was right there...go back and watch the game. Either a miscommunications or a bad route!!
Exactly Pope ran a post route and Nkosi threw a out route...somebody messed up!!Pope was not right where that db caught it, he was well behind him and closer to the sideline and was open. I
Absolutely. He is a Jason Geathers cloneI want to see the coaching staff try out Lingard at WR in the spring, especially if DJ Dallas comes back next season. He has the size and athleticism to be a potential big time playmaker at the position. Can't let a guy as physically gifted as Lingard transfer or rot on the bench. He has to see the field in some capacity.
Agree Pope was yards behind the DB. Looked like the ball was intended for the DB. Maybe Pope ran the wrong route...Pope was not right where that db caught it, he was well behind him and closer to the sideline and was open. I
I doubt It lol, it just looked like a bad throw to meAgree Pope was yards behind the DB. Looked like the ball was intended for the DB. Maybe Pope ran the wrong route...
You mean a flag or corner... not a post.... but it looked like he had an option route. And to be fair, if he did than he read the defense right. They were sitting in a cover 2. Mallory had a quick out/flat route and the corner used his leverage to try to play both. Pipe broke on a high corner which was the right route in this case. Nkosi threw what seemed to be a deep out, which lead to the easy interception for the corner.... this is why it’s hard to point fingers in football. I will say this though, before the play I even called the routes because of the formation. We do it ever 3rd and medium. Enos was so predictable it’s sadSo Mark Pope last night on that INT in the 4th quarter was either a bad route by Pope or a throw Nkosi thought was suppose to be an out and not a post. It’s a product of the QB not being on time, identifying a presnap matchup and placing the ball on time and on targetI'm far from an expert but I think they have struggled to consistently beat man coverage. I don't know if this a product concept of routes we run or just that our recievers dont run good routes or talent.
