I've seen this movie before. We fix one side and suck on the other. Until he gets offense and defense working well at the same time, I've got no faith.

Do seriously not remember how all al had to do was recruit better than Randy and everything would be fine? How about when Richt was going to be great because all he had to do was run a mediocre defense and we'd be fine?

So you'll pardon me if I need to see it to believe it.

And none of this is to say I dislike Manny, because I promise you I'd be saying the same thing if our HC was Merlin the fcking magician or Jesus.

I’m sweating because neither of these cats on the roster are ready to be the guy at Miami..if we want to have a chance to be a legit playoff contender next year we need hurts. To compete against Clemson we need Hurts.

I’m almost out Totally on perry. I’ like jDub but I don’t think he’s ready next year to be the guy we need. Hurts imo is a sure thing and I for one have been on here eying this move since last offseason when Hurts leaving bama became a reality. We desperately need maturity on O and in that QB room
 
Agreed. I too need proof before swallowing the koolaid. But I do like the changes Manny has made thus far, his hires, and who we’ve picked up via the transfer portal. If we can land Hurts and/or Tate things will most certainly be looking like they’re going in the right direction. But the main thing I want to see is all of this translate to better performances on the field. Throw in some more W’s and I’ll drive the bandwagon.
 
Like Manny and think he’ll do well here, but I don’t think we’ll get a QB that OU wants. We used to beat them in the good old days, but now we couldn’t touch them. Sad.
 
I'm neutral right now but it just comes from fans always being let down so until things happen officially, people are pessimistic. Battered wife syndrome or whatever you wanna call it, fans have the right from past experience to be cautious.
