He always has a running QB and they are never the best passers. Dixon won't be happy at OSU

The bigger question......

When is he gonna fake another "health issue" after Urban realizes he isn't King Ding a Ling in the Big 10.
He *****ed out at Florida after all the talent Ron Zook left him...and Tebow, Harvin, Hernandez, Dunlap, Spikes left and he couldn't compete with Saban.

It was Urban's dumbass who signed Jeff Brantley, a pocket passer, to run the spread option. That's like Dennis Erickson signing Tommie Frazier to run a pro set offense.

Not a fan but the guy wins a lot of games. He's in the perfect conference, and more than likely he'll have his team in the B10 championship game annually.

Urbie is a great developer of QBs - just ask him. Tebow's mechanics were so bad he went through a car wash of QB coaches after leaving Gainesville. Miller is helluva athlete, but again throwing mechanics are awful.

He gets the most out of his players... His system utilizes a lot of untraditional athletes... Athletes like Harvin would have excelled in any system but players like Tebow, Demps and Rainey were stars in Urb's system as opposed to being role players in other systems... Even Miller, I think we looked at him as a potential safety prospect...

Using kids with unique ability is great, but doesn't necessarily develop them to succeed at this next level - and isn't that No. 1 on priority list.

Why did demaryius Thomas and Calvin Johnson go to Georgia Tech to play in a triple option?

At least urban wins

Why would anyone send their kid to play for Urban Meyer???? Integrity counts. The guy is a POS.

I disagree his system utilizes their unique skills which makes them appealing to gm's on the next level... He did his best for Tebow... The kid was a 3 time heisman finalist and won 1 under Urb's watch... Any other coach would have put him at full back... If you look at it besides Harvin being stud, he got the most out of Riley Cooper, Luis Murphy, and David Nelson... All of those guys were like 3star role players who have NFL careers... Now his 2010 class was a bust but for the most part his players are productive... Outside a hand full of guys his players develop well...

Calvin Johnson was at GT before Paul Johnson and never played for him.

He did his best with Tebow to win championships - and that's his job. A lot of that, though, was system and physical athletic ability. Point is Meyer was unable to develop Tebow's mechanics in advance of the Nfl. He later went thru 3-4 QB gurus.

And none of the qb gurus were able to fix Tebow mechanics... I think Meyer's system utilized his skillet better than any coach out there... The guy develops talent because many of his players over achieve... And winning brings everyone a board... Sort of like in the 80's when Troy Aikman initially went to Oklahoma... That was dumb, going to the wishbone and if he started he more than likely would have stated because they were winning...
