Watching this game you could see actual improvement from our players and you can see our players getting better week to week. TVD had enough time in the pocket to take a nap. The defense adjusted when needed and we tried different things when we had 3 starters out to injury to make up for it , all things you didn’t see then.

This one feels way different than UF.

And if we didn’t have the ST miscues and went up 21-3. I don’t think they would’ve fought as hard. They’d have been shell shocked and I think Miami would have still ran away with it.

I think they are going to be better than last year as well.

This is different on so many levels.

This wasn’t a pillow fight victory (like the UF win)

This wasn’t a perfect storm of an overrated team and us overachieving coming into our stadium during a Cinderella season (ND/Richt)

This was a capable team with talent all across the board. The challenged us.
Our roster isn’t loaded with a couple of fluke recruiting wins and a lot of reaches.
We finally have an imposing OL

And finally we know that we actually have sound schemes and play callers so this shouldn’t be a fluke performance but the spring board for the future.

we were better coached. we were outright better. we were two special teams miscues from this being 48-10 type beat down. kudos to Dawson for an absolute clinic of a game, TVD for his best performance of his career, the OL for giving time, and guidrys d for a great performance. final shout out to Mario - he was great. this team is night and day better w the new assistants. I am thrilled to see us going forward and as long as tvd is healthy, the sky is the limit on this squad. should be unbeaten rolling into UNC and Clemson is beatable esp at home.

When you think about it weigman didn’t start doing anything until Miami went prevent a few times and started to play off on the receivers. Defense looked good other than that and we gave them 14 points early
defense was great. the two early TDs came off field position given away at the 15 and 3. they were pretty dominant throughout.

This Texas A&M team is a good team.

They got a lot going for them. QB isn't bad. Lines are good. They have some dude adjacent guys at WR. The DL is monstrous. They beat a lot of teams yesterday. Just not us.

They didn't know they were walking into a stadium that had laid a trap for'em. Even Kirk Herbstreit was dragging the fans and we showed out. Lots of plays where they struggled to communicate, especially pre-snap adjustments. They didn't know our QB was waiting behind a bush to shank'em 5-times. Cold blooded, too. Man showed no emotion all game. Stone Cold Tyler Van Dyke. They didn't realize that their athletic, massive DL was going to meet some freak shows like 6'6" 350lb Anez Cooper who can pull from the weak side as well as any iOL I've seen at that size/age. They didn't realize that a center worth their salt could stop the bull in a China shop known as Walter Nolan. They didn't realize our defense is FLYING around, taking souls, and is led by a legitimate - future - two time All-American Kam Kinchens. They didn't realize that our midget corners are feisty af and will annoy you all game long. Those boys play bigger than they are.

The trap was set. We're here. Now is the hard part. Winning when we are expected to win. Maintaining and building upon momentum.

This game wasn’t as close as the score. 2 gifts in their red zone. TVD was forced out of the pocket only 3-4 times outta 30. Our OL almost completely neutralized their vaunted DL. Ran enough to keep them honest. Lost count of our explosive plays.

Weigman didn’t know where we were coming from. Took him 53 attempts to get 324. He took a beating.

He also threw an interception(2) for the first time in his college career

Best Miami team I’ve seen since 03
