Why The U Is Unique (fantastic article)

Hes right about the Notre Dame game. Even before we kicked the football off, they showed Ed Reed on the big TV and slowly, the fans began to cheer louder and louder, "REED, REED, REED, REED."

He started getting choked up with emotion.

The fans loved Ed Reed, and he loved us back. We were part of the same family and welcoming him home.

I will maintain, that we many lack than quanity of fans the big schools have, in a big game, we more than make up in intensity.

We don't have the Orange Bowl, rest her soul. Supposedly, Hard Rock is the Dolphins stadium.

They may own the deed, but we own the field, and the hearts of Miami fans.

Great article - so true about our players’ love for the team, the community. Richt going back to the roots engaging the kids and young players again will and is paying dividends for future Canes players and re-energizing the fan base. Winning of course helps but the movement again in South Florida is growing again....it’s just a matter of time before it reaches its peak with another National Title bestowed upon the University we love so much. That time is coming sooner than later....
