How can the #10/11 team be playing the #19 team and be a 21 point favorite? Who do we think has a better handle on things, the voters or Vegas?

Nopewhat's the point of this post? Colorado shouldn't be ranked at 3-0 with two power 5 wins?
Didn’t realize I wasn’t allowed to mock the polls that have a team ranked above us that is probably going to get blown out on Saturday to the point Vegas has them as a 3 TD underdog.Crap.. forgot I was logged into “Buffs in the Sky”
Oh wait..
My point is that the line is at 3 TDs for 2 teams that are separated by 8-9 spots in the polls. Either the polls are way off or Vegas is. I say it’s the polls.what's the point of this post? Colorado shouldn't be ranked at 3-0 with two power 5 wins?

If we were out in Eugene this week would we be a 3 TD underdog?
That is partially correct. And the correlation between game results and the vegas lines is quite high. If you thought there was some huge gap between reality and the vegas line you'd jump on it.Gambling betting lines have nothing to do with rankings. Gambling lines are based on what the gambling masses believe will happen in a given game. The line is set and moves so as to get 50% of the bets on either side of the game.
TCU was ranked #17 based on nothing. Nebraska is still a bad team.OP point is that Colorado is overrated in the polls. I disagree. With wins at TCU (17) and Nebraska they deserve the ranking. That said, they will get trounced Saturday.
... we can't ignore the Human Centipede Effect, particularly for SEC teams.
