Why the Optimism?

Will not drink koolaid till this win, n it will b half glass. ACcC or gtfo,,,,,,recruiting class top 3 with sbb n ridley or gtfo.

UF gave us that game. We played not to lose. Hopefully Golden has come to the realization that he actually has athletes at Miami. Take the fight to them and and don't look back.
 
Gave us that game. Did you watch the same game that I did. The McCord strip fumble and Denzel fumble were our kids rising to the challenge. The bad INT is what it is but ****, our kids can't even get the credit they deserve these days. Going into that game, they didnt know the Gators were gonna sh*t the bed for the entire season. They were ranked in the #15 with only one or two key injuries. Are we that blinded by animosity? Shame

For everyone who says Al can't win the big game or beat Jimbo - there's always a first time. it just might happen and now is as good a time as any.

Half of the fun in all this for me is just that it's FSU week. The back and forth trash talk with target rich Noles has been good for more than a few big laughs. Win or lose - I can appreciate the week for what it is.

As much as i want them to win, all I really want out of the game (more than winning) is for Duke to have a monster game. He deserves it. Kid could have gone anywhere but instead he stayed and went through rough times. I want a huge game for him in the worst way. Plus, if he gets it - chances are it will be a team win - which is the icing on the whole deal.

Lol. It must be hard to want your team to lose and win at the same time. This post reflects the odd place you must find yourself in this week.

It all good. wanting the Canes to kick the **** out of FSU and being FANatical about this game is good thing no matter how anyone wants to frame your enthusiasm. Go Canes!!!!

If everybody doesn't share this same concern they have blinders on and foolish pride. Until he proves he can coach vs top teams imo he still blows. You beat teams that you simply out talented to win, nothing more nothing less. Beat a top team or don't leave mad just leave

Not trying to be a **** how can we trash talk them? We haven't beat them in 4 years and we showed zero improvement since AG showed up. I pray we win but lets be real what is our chance ??? fsu fans would love for us to keep AG around for another 10 years.

Easy. They are Noles and the only time they beat us consistently is when we are under the thumb of the NCAA. They know it. We know it. And we are resurgent whether y'all care to admit it or not. I have a nephew is the biggest trash talking garnet and gold wearing fool. Haven't even heard a peep from that one this week......he's skeeeered for sure. He gets it today.

Because this is Canes Insight, a safe haven for Golden slurpers. I am not drinking the Kool Aid, and one win tomorrow night doesn't erase 4 years of futility in the ****** ACC.
 
my buddy who lives in fort lauderdale has been ripping the canes since shannon era. they are always going to lose according to him. he told me "canes win tomorrow. book it. i dont like golden but i can feel it in the air" hahahaha

Beating FSU goes a long way for me. That's a huge step forward that would be hard to ignore.

I just have a hard time expecting that to happen given our Golden situation.

It does go a long way and it would be a GREAT win, but Golden still has a lot of work to do.

How can you say that? Ever since I've been here reading posts I think the Golden Haters FAR outnumber the "slurpers" as you call them. So are these Butch Davis lovers "Butch Slurpers"?
