Al still trolling the sidelines! Dorito still DC and we lost to all the ranked teams we played this season! We beat 3 DOGS in a row after getting ***** slapped by GT and we drinking the dish water again? I hope we win but I wouldn't bet the change in my ash tray on Al beating a ranked team! FSU gone unleash the dogs because they getting disrespected by the playoff people and they want to prove something to SoFL recruits. I got no optimism Al can coach in games like this! Why? BECAUSE YOU ARE WHO YOU RECORD SAYS YOU ARE MF!!!!

I agree with this 100%. Anyone who bets should be laying big money on FSU. It's the safest bet you can make this weekend.

Best way to predict this game is to look at past performances. Not only against FSU but ALL of our big games under Golden. He can't seem to get over the hump.
 
I spent the 80's on the sidelines of Canes games! I still hook up with a few former Cane "Star" players. Let me just tell you internet punks that they and many other former Canes loath Al Golden! As former NFL players, having being coached by some of the best NFL coaches and knowing the game.....they think Al and staff are idiots in the coaching circles. They don't like some make their opinions public, but kids let me tell you he ain't got no support these cats and some former Cane HS coaches too. Bash me all you want but I'm just giving you the real son!

You do realize that Duke is 8-1 and ranked right? or are you just referring to when we played them? If that's the case then we beat a ranked Gator team and OSU team during the Golden years.

Duke is ranked and we killed them, I know they are not great but that proves your statement as false.

Please tell me more about these former players not supporting the staff. You must really know these guys to get that kind of info. All the tweets and interviews I have seen they seem to love him. This is news to me.

Jeez...because we are playing better...because it is a rivalry game...because I have a hunch that Duke is going to have a fantastic game, a game that he is capable of...because we are at home...most importantly because this is supposed to be fun at least at times--we have a shot here.

Some interesting statistics (i.e. facts)from the Huffingpost article in another thread;
1. Miami is 6-3 straight-up and 5-3 against-the-spread this season against the 25th ranked schedule in the nation.
2. The Hurricanes are up to #18 in our most recent College Football Power Rankings.
3. Miami is allowing just 4.2 yards-per-play, the seventh lowest mark in the FBS (out of 128 teams).
4. In our strength-of-schedule-adjusted efficiency metrics, the Hurricanes rank in the top 15 against the run and the pass.
5. Despite playing a top 25 schedule, the Hurricanes rank third in all of college football, out-gaining their opponents by an average of 2.6 yards-per-play.

If you cant be optimistic why be a fan? Even if you arent optimistic you have to acknowledge "there is a chance" because, as they say, that's why they play the game.

Lastly, its FSU week!! If you cant look forward to this game, whats the point of even logging onto this board.

Problem for many is that if Miami wins it ends the arguement, or any hopes that there is one, within the administration regarding AG.
 
****, why not? If we lose we can all go back to being miserable and calling for Al and company to be fired.

But for now, in this moment, let's put all of the negative bull**** aside and unite as one against a common enemy to bring down the wicked and see Miami regain it's rightful place in the college football world.

Predictably, OP is taking some sissy slaps from Folden's Faqqots, but it's hard to argue with his assertions. I think UM will win the game, but I have no solid basis for it and most certainly wouldn't put my money where heart is on this one.

Can't really argue with logic of OP. I believe we have the players to beat feather people but Al & co done nothing but prove they are not up to the task. The sole exception is last year's gator game. Al hates Muschump. The last couple weeks he has been angry and scared. IF has developed a nice heavy hatred for Dumbo and remains angry and scared, then we have a shot. If he was regained his calm, he will default to base nature and we get hosed again.
