don't think anyone doubts his coaching ability .being 13th in the conference in recruiting is more concerning. winning should boost him not drop him to the bottom

has like 35+ seniors. I smart coach would hit the portal hard which it seems like that's Lanes plan. if all you can point to is one "bad class" in a 10+ year coaching career then I'd say he's a decent recruiter.

however you want to justify it that's fine but he's still currently slightly ahead of Vanderbilt to avoid LAST place in the SEC for recruiting. Now if he makes it work that's great but that's a valid concern for any Miami fan.

no point in time should a team doing this well be being out-recruited by missouri, arkansas, kentucky, mississippi state, and soon to be vanderbilt

I agree with this. However our fan base is freaking out over where we stand in recruiting currently so I'm just implying there's a bit of a double standard

I'm sure lane can hold his own here but he's not perfect, and recruiting might be something he needs to hire an elite coordinator to assist with

Recruits know our HC is dead in the water.

It's a different situation entirely.

Yea he did that at UT I remember but the problem is he's easy to recruit against cause he dips quick. He leaves and is always looking for another job.
