Why the hype about Sanders?

What's funny about Deion is that he's seen as the unquestioned GOAT as a DB, but no one has ever asked whether someone like Mike Haynes, a guy that could cover as well as Deion, and was actually useful in the run game could be just as good. The difference between Deion and guys like Woodson, Night Train Lane, Haynes, and other elite corners was that he was flashy and a media darling. I don't believe the gap between Deion and the other elite corners is as large as his jock sniffers think.
Darrel Green could cover and tackle. Deon tackled like he learned on Manures tire.

I mean cool.. but that’s all Mario Cristobal is in that case too. That’s all every coach who has never won anything is until they go out and prove it. Deion is a legend. We had folks around here losing their mind over Ed Reed being on staff here and now with prime it’s just running game. Man miss me
lol the comparison I make to Deion is Mario actually. Deion went to JSU and won 11 and 12 games when a lot of people doubted him when he took the job. he recruited at a level no one thought could happen at an HBCU esp for the kids he got (Hunter and he out marioed Mario for Coleman). Mario was successful at FIU and Oregon but hes never coordinated a side of the ball and his elite strength is recruiting. hes a sales guy and it proves w his recruiting. they just recruit in diff styles (Mario is less flash while Deion is flash) but they do it well.

well that’s why I brought mario name up. He’s the same dude but Cuban and instead of being a primetime flashy diva he’s a muscle “tough” guy lol. The canes board is full of hypocrites and you can’t have an opinion on here that doesn’t revolve around Miami

Sorry if this was previously addressed as I have a limit on the amount of Corch Grime material/apologism I can consume on CIS but what is Sanders'/Colorado's NIL model going to be?

CU has to scramble just to be able to pay HIM so there obviously isn't a super solid booster or even business network behind that program.

The Jackson State model of an entity or two like Barstool funding a couple of big name kids won't work on the P5 level.

The only sustainable NIL model imo and it'll be the most difficult route is for that program to be funded nationally rather than locally. This would seemingly have to start happening NOW and coincide with immediate (and unlikely) improvement by the Buffs on the field next season. The shiny new object getting national attention will become real boring real quick if they win like 3 games next year.

Bottom line- all this Grime hype is entertaining now but P5 kids ain't gonna go play for him in the numbers he needs if that program isn't at least somewhat equivalent with the big boys NIL cash-wise. This is why Colorado was always a weird choice for him both on this front and geographically.
