This is where you clearly get it wrong and have no clue. First they pull some cheap *** pathetic low class crap, and flopped when we had the ball to let us score just so they can get the ball back to complete some cheap *** pass so the qb could break the school record. You don't do that period. Then they go into our pool and start swimming in it, again you don't do that.

CLEARLY YOU HAVE NO CLUE ABOUT UM CELEBRATIONS! Look at our tape and look at our celebrations, we never got in anybody's face and celebrated, we never threw it in their face. We scored and partied with ourselves, we stopped them on defense and partied with ourselves. They didn't like it cus it was never done before and they couldn't stop us. But we never jumped in front of the opposing team and danced or celebrated in their face. One thing is their is a CODE, nothing in the CODE says about celebrating with each other, these tight wads just *****ed about it cus nobody did that either and took it like we were rubbing it in.

God **** some of you guys have twisted what these Canes did

As for the gayturds, this arrogant pu$$y as crap was just one of many things that deserve the right to be the most hated of our rivals, add to that the hubris of gayturds fans, add to that punk *** AD when they stopped playing us like cowards and stated the U needed them more than gayturds needs the U, this after we had won our 2nd National Title and they hadn't even won an SEC title EVER!!! HERE'S HOW MUCH i HATE THESE RATLIZZURDS; I hope anyone with a uf degree burns in **** for all eternity. I remember Coach "Ski:" "There is nothing lower than a gator...." Went to a game in Gainesville when I was at UM and could have sworn I was in a damned ice storm in Alaska. That's how much ice they threw at us. Some of it had rocks in it, too. Just utter garbage, Deliverance style.

61 as I went to my first game in 63. Miami vs UF freshman game. Our QB was Bob Biletnikoff Fred's little brother theirs was Spurrier. We won 22-18

I had a sideline pass for the Flop game. I, along with others, could hear part of the conversation between the gator players and coach ****ie. ****ie was against letting UM score, but relented after the 2nd time out. ****ey played at UF in the early '50s, became head coach at Tennessee in mid '60s before becoming HC at uf in 1970. He later became the AD at Tennessee. Typical gator jerk. At the snap all but 2 gators hit the deck (you can see in the film that 2 guys in the secondary remained on their feet but made no attempt at defending the play).
UF was billed a little over $3000 by the City of Miami for damages to the pool and the rock formations.
As for QB John Reaves national passing record, it didn't last long at all (I think a max of 2 years). By the way, Reaves once threw 9 interceptions in one game against Auburn.

Yeap, we be old. The good part of that is we got to live through the Fins' glory years or the Perfect Season and all the Cane glory. Now we get our shot at the third patch of Hurricane glory. Being old sucks, but being an old fan from Miami makes if worthwhile. Plus, the chicks have ALWAYS be frigging hot here -- and never wore much by way of clothes. Heck, in the early 70's Dade Junior north campus had more hot chick than most SEC campuses today -- cut off short, mini skirts, halter tops and not a bra to be seen. Life was good.

I was in row 15, I think. Amazing how many people on this board where at that game. The pool thing did not bother me -- that was Fins stuff. Enough bad stuff can never happen to the slime bucket gator for the Flop.

I had a friend in the 1ST Cav in Nam who played for CG in the game they beat Reaves' team in the state playoff -- CG ended up ranked NCs that year if I recall. Didn't he get arrested a few years back? Not that I hold any grudges but I remember smile at an article about it.

If you watch the clip of the flop that you posted, you will see 1 uf guy who lined up over the receiver at the top of the screen retreat to the end zone as the play develops and 1 uf guy towards the bottom of the screen take a couple of step towards Hornibrook along the 5 yard line. The film shows 2 gators standing. Clifford and a player from another Miami area high school (Norland I believe, but I could be wrong on the school).

I was standing on the gator side line at the line of scrimmage talking with the downs marker referee and we both predicted uf was going to let UM score, but we certainly did not predict a flop like that.
 
I cant keep explaining to the Generation Y group why old Hurricane fans hate The Alligators worse than Satan! Its not just the Gator Flop its the arrogance (even when they didn't even win a synchronized swimming Nat Title), the hicks, the town. **** look at #1 hick Spurrier tells you all you need to know about Gainesville!

I used to be in the stands with my dad getting annihilated by them. Then the 31-4 game and the fear in Kerwin Bell's eyes with Danny Stubbs and those savages destroying him! Then they cancel us! That was the day I could never even say their names!

Again Bowden another good ole boy but like he said on his tombstone will be "But he played Miami!"

Factually correct statement and The Semenholes never dropped us!
 
My personal experiences shape how much I "hate" a certain team. For me, I've had FAR more negative encounters at Doak than I have at the Swamp. Gator fans just annoy me, whereas I seem to always encounter some racist a-hole when I'm at a game in Tally.
 
Yeah I didnt have much trouble in Tally except some redneck ***** flipping my U hat at an FSU pep rally. Told her she touches my Miami hat again she will be forced to bow to the real "master of disaster!"

But it was isolated Tally was/is Ok haven't been back since 2001 but now ready! Now the last game In Swamp with Vinny all out street fight on field and in stands! See Alligators hunt in packs not one on one. Another puck *ss reason throw stuff and then don't own up to it! In the OB we say I threw it b*tch what? Take your doublewide back to Mayberry!
 
Hating the Gators shouldn't need much of an explanation, but from what I have experienced, an increase in the presence of Gator fans in your vicinity will lead to a decrease in your ability to tolerate the Gators, as well as, an increase in your hatred of all things related to the Gators.

He is/was (maybe he's dead) a low-rent asshat that was given every ******* thing he ever had. I had quite the chuckle when his arrest was reported.
 
Im an oldie. Never hated FSU the way I do UF. The fact Bowden took us on and and delivered supurb teams that became our biggest tests during the glory years makes me respect them for the most part.

The Gators mocked us when we were down, ran away from us when we rose as a power and their redneck fans are insufferable.
