LT: Zion Nelson -preseason all acc
LG: John Campbell - front runner for left tackle, better fit at guard
C: DJ Scaife - projected nfl center at true position
RG: Justice O - likely starter for RG
RT: Jalen Rivers - been best OL fall camp.

These have gotta be the best 5 o lineman at their nfl projected positions. Problem over the last decade is having players play out of position because of their talent and our lack of depth. For example, KC McDermott is now the 2nd string center for the Jags prolly where he should have been the whole time while at Miami.

We should probably have someone at RT if we want to be effective.

You think we should play an unbalanced line with two LTs? And Clark will start at C.

last decade they were handicapped by bad coaching decisions, not developed (strength, footwork, physicality), assigned positions like musical chairs and a few injuries occurred which speak to the depth you mention.

Zion and Rivers at T, Scaife and Campbell/Justice at G, and Clark at C. Clark actually did solid last year when Gaynor went down and Clark played hurt last year I believe.

I've been told my guess is dead wrong re: LT Zion, LG Campbell or Rivers, C Clark, RG Scaife, RT Rivers or Campbell, so we shall see.

Putting this here for the record and posterity. We shall see. I do agree with what I was told: I think we have less of a clear idea of what the coaches plan to do than ever before.

When it comes to OL, I'll fully trust whatever the **** they decide and tip my cap. Those dudes are obsessive and unemotional about their decisions.

RG is the one spot that’s not locked up imho

This Scaife experiment is dangerous.

Nelson and Campbell should be starters at tackle but with Nelson out, it will likely be Campbell and Scaife. LG is Rivers, C is Clark and RG is either Sagopolo or Olouwasen. (I’m sure i messed up their names) When Nelson comes back, Campbell goes back to RT and Scaife goes to the bench.
