Why no to Njoku?

Boy it's going to be ON come spring camp and even better come the summer open season on ALL positions EPIC battles coming , I'll be looking for some good fights laying claim for position.

Hamburger drills and bull in the ring type drills enough to fill the training room bumps bruises and whirlpools all getting in line..... ALL GOOD STUFF.

I have no dog in the hunt re Njoku. No idea if we should take him. But our staff is crazy if it thinks we don’t need WR talent. The alleged said all year comments you refer to were hardly from the current staff, moreover. And they date to a time when we thought we had a stacked ‘20 WR class, had Haselton, had AR, etc. We should take WRs who can play at the U. And we have roster room.
 
People saying we should take this guy when we only have like 6 scholarships left.

What a difference three weeks can make. Never in a million years did I think those words could be the case if you'd asked me a month ago.

I foresee Evidence ending up wherever little brother goes unfortunately. I think the kid deserved an offer simply as a possession receiver if nothing else with those flypaper hands.
 
This is what makes me mad. If we can take a sixth QB because he will "help the scout team" why can't we take a guy who just might be better than his NFL brother?

On film, against the same competition, same state, he looks the best of the three. David was the second best on film with Evidence well behind the other two. No agenda here, just calling it like I see it. This doesn't mean we necessarily have room this year, that I don't know.

If you have a HS kid that looks better than David than you make room for him. We were willing to take Ladson who I doubt ends up being as good in the NFL as David.

Making a mistake passing on a kid that is clearly worth an offer but nothing new right? Yeah we are stacked at WR but that can all change quickly now and the Njoku family is orange and green. Starting to look like that is going to change to red and white smh.
