He will be eventually... what he has done at two "non-basketball" schools is incredible. The fact he has done it at multiple schools over multiple decades really highlights he is the reason, rather than just getting lucky with a nice run or two.

He's the only coach in NCAAB history to win 100 conference games at 3 schools.

And to do it at Bowling Green, George Mason, and Miami - that alone might be HOF-worthy

How many other coaches have been to the FF with two teams? I’m sure there’s a few but can’t be a long list.

Edit. Add Coach L, this list is from 22.

Rick Pitino has taken 3 different schools to the Final Four: Providence, Kentucky and Louisville.
The following coaches have taken 2 different schools to the Final Four:
Roy Williams (Kansas, North Carolina)
Lute Olson (Iowa, Arizona)
Jack Gardner (Kansas State, Utah)
Forddy Anderson (Bradley, Michigan State)
Larry Brown (UCLA, Kansas)
Eddie Sutton (Arkansas, Oklahoma State)
Gene Bartow (Memphis, UCLA)
John Calipari (Massachusetts, Memphis)
Hugh Durham (Florida State, Georgia)
Lou Henson (New Mexico State, Illinois)
Bob Huggins (Cincinnati, West Virginia)
Frank McGuire (St. John's, North Carolina)
Lee Rose (Charlotte, Purdue)

Umm I almost commented amazing that Calipari hasn’t taken Kentucky there but unless I’m really out if touch, doesn’t he have a title with Kentucky, Anthony Davis led squad?

I didn’t catch that originally. He’s been there four times with UK. Not sure why not included. Maybe they plan on them eventually being vacated or something.
