The BOT is really run by three guys (Sorry Bernie Kosar, you have less power than even the student trustee now):
Stuart Miller (Lennar Homes)
Paul DiMare (Dimare Fresh)
Richard Fain (Royal Carribean International (Cruise Line))
Care to take a guess on a MAJOR similarity all their business' have in common?
Low wage, foreign-sourced labor
DiMare's product, fresh vegetables, ROT in his California and Florida fields if no one picks them. Where does that labor come from?
Lennar Homes primarily builds in Florida an the rest of the Southeast, Texas, and up the Pacific Coast. Who primarily is building these houses so Lennar can turn a profit on them?
Royal Carribean's ships are all foreign flagged (i.e. safety inspected and taxed overseas) and with the possible exception of Julie your Cruise Director, are all foreign crewed, with the vast majority coming from Asia, the Balkans or Central America. The ships are all built overseas.
A Head Football Coach and staff to these guys are overpaid at $1 Million a year...And they want one who doesn't make waves or demands money for their assistants.
Hmm, wonder how much they saved on Frenk from what Donna was paid.
