Why is Shannon not running a no huddle hurry up power spread??

The Offense generated 549 total yards, with 428 passing, at 12.2 yards per pass, while going 8/11 on 3rd down & put up 45 points.

Malachi Toney set a record & Mensah had more TD's than incompletions.

The Offense had 2 punts the entire game.

What else do you want?

And here's the funny part, we actually DID go no huddle quick Tempo on the first 2 drives.
 
While we're at it, let's demand we play by CFL rules so our guys can get a running start.

Nuke this thread. Don’t remember what year it was (think it was Lashlee years) where we scored too quickly and the defense was always on the field. Shannon is balling and people still gotta find a way to complain.

Well, maybe could have gone 30/30 and gotten 600 yards I suppose, so room for improvement? 😅
 
He doesn’t need to, he just needs to diversify the run game. Alittle motion and eye candy would be nice given the current state of the oline.

1. We went no huddle plenty of times against Stanford. But no huddle doesn't work anymore because the refs let the opposing team substitute. So the advantage of the ultra tempo is gone.

2. Huddling has the advantage that you can't steal an opposing signal, whether that's from the QB or the OC in regards to formation or concept. That's why there are mics in helmets.

3. We are running a power spread. I'm not sure how anyone can have the notion that we don't.

4. Our WR broke the single game receiving record and our QB had 400 yards passing in two and a half quarters with more TDs than incompletions. "Waste" is certainly a term for that.

These four responses should suffice for an obvious troll porst.

I don't even think we have to do that. We ran more different concepts, it's just that a certain player kept ******* up.

Only thing I would agree on is having more formations that isolate our RB vs a CB. Mallory was able to easily bounce runs because he was facing a CB next.
