Just a guess but assistant coaches generally have one year contracts that are renewable annually. If fired while the contract remains in effect, it could trigger a severance. It’s much cheaper to let the contract expire without renewing the agreement. Same result but no financial impact.
 
Are coaching changes made before a bowl game? or after? Usually a team doesn't make a bowl game bc they suck and the coaching search begins. Except for head coach, where teams look to poach before a bowl game, I don't think I have seen lateral move coaching changes take place until after bowl season.
 
I have a feeling that the only coaching changes will be replacing coach that leave on their own.
I sense an unholy stubbornness in Richt.

We welcome you with open arms, friend. For now I recommend keeping that flame thrower at arms length, but if CMR doesn't make the requisite changes this offseason, light that ***** up!

Thank you for the invitation. However, I do not need a singlet. I just got mine back from the dry cleaners.

Great! Of course the singlet will have to comply with our standards. At least 30% of the surface area must be bedazzled, and the seat must of a Brazilian cut.

Will have it tailored to those specifications and will begin bedazzling it tonight. Thank you for letting me know as I did not want to stick out like a sore thumb at my first meeting.
