Why is Richt stepping down hard to believe?

First off, I don’t think we win another game this year and I don’t think he gets fired. But he will be asked about relinquishing play calling duties. The anger from football alumni is too great. If he’s so **** bent on calling plays why stay?

Because we haven't fueled up the planes, and relentlessly follow him to every home game, and every away game.

It's gotten expensive enough for Richt to leave, and it's not gotten expensive enough for the Admin to fire his ***.

When every game has banners - you'll see it on ESPN etc., articles, and that is the source of negative publicity that builds up to the breaking point for the coach himself and strongly motivates the school to bust a move.

'Course, UM has some of the dumbest ****ts making decisions - so they'll pooch another opportunity and instead hire another loser. I don't know if they're looking at prospects footwear to make a decision, their golf handicap, their desperation to try to coach a big program, or the thickness of their book on "How to Run a Football Program."

At the very least he should fire his kid and hire an offensive play caller. I'd hate to see him drag our team through the mud and lose top recruits for years. I certainly don't like what we see with Miami's short term or even long tern future. This guy can ***** us up worse than the bums before him with such a long contract that was given to him.

Agreed. He’s cracking now let’s amp up the pressure higher and higher until there is no other option for him but to step down. The win-win, if you call it that, would hopefully mean we have something left in the coffers to lure a better option here as HC. If that means putting in Diaz as interim HC so be it. I don’t have a particular HC in mind but anyone with a pulse has to be better than Richt and his son.

Step one is getting rid of James. Without that move first we are wash, rinse and repeat. Richt was going nowhere, but he throws an extension at him. Golden, limited success, extension. This, not to mention the poor choices of HBC's and the state of or baseball program.

The guy cares about money, if donations are coming in and we have our ACC money all is well.

i'd like to see adidas step up and throw some more cash at us to make this happen

otherwise, they're just wasting money on us

After UVA I said we weren’t winning another game. And nothing has changed to suggest otherwise. As for stepping down, or making changes, lol. He’s not walking away from that coin, he’s not firing his son, nor is anyone going to “make” him. Maybe he feels pressure to hire an OC after we tank the next three games and don’t go to a bowl. People will howl, banners will fly, the stadium will be empty. Again, I doubt it. But if we win one, somehow, and go to a bowl, fuggedaboutit, he’ll keep call plays and stand pat.

If he gives up calling the plays, it will be for someone else calling the plays for the same offense. That's no good. We need a new OC with a dynamic (point scoring) offense, not just a new play caller.

That would mean significant change and I don't expect it to happen.
