Why is Miami loyal to Golden? He tried to leave us for PSU

12 months ago. Did Blake forget about that? And don't say it's about the money.

The Guy lied and said he wasn't interested in Penn State and was the coach at Miami. Blah blah blah. Then he interviewed and wanted to leave and get the **** out of here. That was the moment I lost respect for him. I'm sure the players did as well.

Im calling a rich rod here.. rich rod was 3-9, then 5-7, then 7-5.. trending up, had good recruits in place, then lost a bowl game and fired him. Who's to say that if we went 5-7 Golden wouldnt be fired? I bet he would have been. So a loss in the bowl game.. i just want to go ahead and make a guess "he's gone if we lose a bowl game."
 
Here's the way it was explained to me:

There are something like 17 voting board of trustee members. Maybe 6 or 7 of them actually attend the occasional UM football game. Of those 6 or 7, there are 3 who are actually avid UM fans. The rest could not care any less about the athletics programs.

It's those other 12 or so BoT members who like Al Golden because, from their limited view, he looks the right way, dresses the right way, says the right things in front of the camera, etc... For that reason, they will continue to show loyalty to him.

It's that group who get so bent out of shape about anything "negative" in the press. They can't stand it when their Ivy League friends run down the school at ****tail parties.
 
Our problem and the war is against this BOT. We need to figure out how to hurt them.

This whole situation is a joke. Golden doesn't want To be here.....the BOT supposedly doesn't want him here.....THEN WHY IN THE **** IS HE STILL HERE?

Answer: Idiots are in control

It's going to get worse next year if they keep Golden.......attendance will be even worse...the program will look even worse.....way to to go BOT......now who the **** will want to come coach or play at Miami if you this abortion of a coaching staff continue.

Only UM would keep a coach that they don't want and who doesn't want to be there
 
As in every other business, money talks and bull**** walks. Season tickets sales are extremely important to UM. The reason the A.D. did not care that 10 people showed up to the Pitt game was because they already sold approximately 40,000 seats for that game through season ticket sales.

The reason you keep hearing more and more stories every day about the BOT is angry, the AD isn't happy, etc. is because the AD is genuinely scared ****less that season ticket sales are going to plummet and are trying to placate season ticket holders. When you couple the fact that fans have reached their boiling point, with the fact that we have an unattractive home slate with only 6 home games, and without UF or FSU to boost individual ticket sales, the AD is seriously worried about losing 50% of season ticket holders.

In short, continue with our emails, tweets and phone calls. It is having an effect.
 
Folden's BOTtom bytches are weak, limp-wristed sissies who know nothing about football and don't care about it. All they care about is what their friends think of them.

If the BOT members made hires like this in their businesses and allowed these kinds of slackers to fester, they would be out of business in no time. Keep in mind that El Foldo is probably the highest paid employee of the University of Miami, and one of the least productive.

If the BOT members made hires like this in their businesses and allowed these kinds of slackers to fester, they would be out of business in no time. Keep in mind that El Foldo is probably the highest paid employee of the University of Miami, and one of the least productive.

Very good point. They'd run off an employee like Folden in 3 minutes if he was at their company. Yet because he's at UM, and he's not hurting their business, they don't give a fck. They can be pretend classy because Folden's not fcking up their company.

Exactly. They would never let El Foldo or anyone diminish their paper the way he's allowed to diminish UM's paper.
